Gulf Coast Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

Ladies at front desk are very rude! I have been waiting for a very long time and was told there were no rooms available. As far as I saw, they were not even busy! Lady who greets at front emergency room door was very rude and all ladies had a poor attitude. Will not be returning to this hospital. Prefer to drive the extra mile for better care.

I don't know what happen to this hospital but they are so rude and it's dirty.

I cant say enough good things about the nurses in labor and delivery as well as postpartum. They are literally angels, every single one of them. As a first time mom I was absolutely terrified with so many nerves. The minute I walked through the doors of the hospital I felt welcomed, supported and taken care of. I wish I would have written down the name of every single person I came in contact with because they were all so amazing! I have to give a special shout out to Mrs. joy in L&D who will always be a hero to me, and helped coach me and bring my sweet girl into the world. She deserves all the accolades! But truly all of the staff do!!!! HATS OFF to all of the employees! Thank you so much for all that you do and the care you provide! They walked me through every single thing and explained everything they were doing and what was happening. They checked on me constantly and made sure I was okay. I literally will never forget how amazing they all were. I just had to share because WOW nurses are amazing and I truly don’t know what I would have done without them.

I received great care from one articulate night shift nurse in ICU by the name of Linda. She should be commended.I was transferred to SPCU (3rd floor) 3days ago. The entire staff and Drs are top notched. I appreciate all they do for me.(Revision)

Recently had surgery here, went under General Anesthesia. No communication from staff regarding being intubated . I left the hospital with a missing crown on my tooth. Both my periodontist and regular Dentist felt it was knocked loose during this procedure. The RN's were all very young, some very immature , laughing about a woman in the next room who was confined to her bed and soiled it a few times. She was left screaming for help for over 10 minutes prior to any help to comfort her. They laughed instead. Lee Health will hire anyone who passed a Nursing Program. NEVER AGAIN........I will fly up North where there is professionalism in medical care. Lee Health is a monopoly......your only ticket in this sleepy little town.

Case managers need to listen better to family instead of patronizing by saying thank you honey when they cant take 2 minutes to hear what family member is trying to say. They could miss something important

Worst hospital experience of my life.

WOW!!!! Shame on you Gulf Coast for mandating the vaccine for your employees when it should be a personal choice not to be made public. I don’t feel comfortable being treated somewhere that forces anything medical and makes your employees private medical decisions no longer private!!! Absolutely wrong and I will not go there again.

This is the worse and nasties place I’ve been to in my life told them I was vomiting blood and was not admitted at all I spent 5 hours in the waiting room I DO NOT RECOMMEND
