Would use her again For my first time meeting her I was actually very comfortable and appreciated how she interacted with our son. We are normally nervous with seeing a new Dr but she made this visit very easy and we felt heard and she asked all the right questions.

Dr. Coombs-Bynum is the BEST!! Wonderful doctor! She really cares about the patient. She treats the child as an actual person and acknowledges him and talks to him. She is thorough and patient and answers all questions. Thank you for taking care of Noah!!!

Would not recommend her I remember going to her once as a teenager and she made rude comments about my scoliosis. My mom mentioned I used to wear a back brace and she responded “and THAT was the result?” which made me feel pretty self conscious. Also she put a psych diagnosis in my file and never mentioned it to me; I only found out when my records were transferred elsewhere.

Misdiagnosis Misdiagnosis my daughter stating it was viral symptoms when she had a brain tumor that two other doctors stated she should have been able to catch it with an eye exam.

Very belitting to Medicaid patients I have 2 grandkids that have seen her. Rude and condescending every visit. Makes statements like 'Let the state take care of them. '

She's awesome Dr. Coombs-Bynum has an excellent presence with infants. She is very caring and calm and that has a positive impact on her patients.

This doctor is amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable and I leave 100% confident in the care/diagnoses of my child. She explains things in laymen's terms which is very much appreciated. She is kind and patient.

I have not personally met this Dr. She treated my grandson. My daughter in law took my 5 week old grandson in due to a fever the night before. His fever broke come morning. Dr Melanie Coombs-Bynum said she thought his coloring was off and wanted to do blood test. My daughter in law explained he was jaundice from birth due to RH negative factor. The dr explained she sees the baby all day so wouldn’t notice his coloring and wanted to proceed with the blood work. Had this Dr not been so attentive and treated my grandson like a human and not a number he could have had such serious health issues. Not only do I believe this woman was directed by God but she used her education and helped save my grandsons life. When his results came back she sent him to ER and made arrangements for him while they drove to hospital. My son and daughter-in-law were told if it wasn’t for this Dr in three days or so my grandson would have serious heart issues. She is amazingly gifted and talented. She spent her time examining a baby and was his angel. Thank you for your commitment to helping infants, toddlers and adolescents! You’re truly a blessing to my family!
