MIchael J. Collins's Online Review Report Card

Went to Collins Vision to be fitted for contact lenses. Met with Mark. Minus my insurance coverage, Mark instructed me to pay the balance of what I owed. Claimed what great insurance I have. Something didn’t seem to jive with Mark’s math. Office billed me additional to what Mark collected from me. Office claimed I owed more money. When all was well, said, and done, Collins Vision had me paying about 50% more than what I was required to pay. Going through my head are all the senior citizens who pay what they are told to pay with no questions asked. Bottom line. I will not return to Collins Vision. Dr. Collins will be performing one less cataract procedure due to his office staffs accounting error. Let’s put it this way. If the billing office couldn’t get it right. What makes me believe that Collins would get getting it right with my procedure. .

Just completed cataract surgery in both eyes. The staff is incredible my surgery was incredibly successful. Wish I had done it three years ago. I’ve never been to a doctors office that has run on time like this office. Thank you Dr. Collins and staff.

After 10 years as a patient, he stopped seeing nonsurgical patients so I have been shuttled around to who was available and has high turnover in the naples office so I went a long time without seeing a real MD. Wait times are terrible and even in the pandemic, there would be 20 patients crammed into a small waiting room and no system for who they take and its just luck of the draw. Having an appointment didn't matter, the disorganized staff were way over their heads. The OD was very curt and rushed and had a flippant attitude. I am looking for another doctor. The MD's have all left so no medical doctor will see you, Yikes.

They are extremely caring and knowledgeable. They always go above & beyond with any concerns a patient may have about eye health.

i am 70 with diabetes,had surgery with dr collins,was a great experience,every expectation was fulfilled 100 percent.collins eye center is the best!

I went in for a consultation on lasik surgery. 3 hours and $15K later, my visit turned into a medical bill. I paid $75 at checkout (supposed to be free). My insurance company instructed my co pay was $100.00. Just got a call from a collection agency for $32.50 with a threat that it will end up on my credit report and damage my credit. Would NEVER GO BACK or REFER anyone to this scam of an office. Buyer beware.

From the beginning Dr Collins made me feel assured and relaxed. The procedure went well and I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes. I see colors with exceptional clarity. Dr Collins and all his staff are extremely professional and courteous.

Dr. Michael Collins & his staff have been my treating vision doctors for the past six years. I just underwent double cataract surgery and Dr. Collins was exceptional. I am a highly anxious individual and he calmed my fears. His wisdom, skill and integrity are unmatched in the medical field. I highly recommend him and his staff for your vision needs.
