I highly recommend Dr. Sheih! He is an amazing surgion. Was refered to him to repair a botched hernia surgery that resulted in an open abdominal wound and 3 fisculas. After 24 surgeries I am home and recoperating. I can't thank him and his superb associates enough.

Dr. Shieh is a brilliant surgeon of the highest caliber. He performed robotic laparoscopic surgery to repair my hernia, it was outpatient, I was home 3hrs later. I immediately felt like a new person. My abdominal wall had a bad tear that needed mesh for reinforcement. Instead of using synthetic mesh, he used specially farmed pig membrane, which has a near zero rejection rate, it fuses with the body making the area stronger, with little chance of a relapse occurring. Rehab time is about 6wks, I feel great & can now resume enjoying a normal life again! Friendly, caring & competent best describes him. I give him the highest recommendation. THANK YOU Dr. Shieh for giving my normal life back to me.

Dr Shieh is a highly gifted surgeon and a wonderful human being. I recommend him to all without reservation. He cares about you and even called me to see how I was doing because he was thinking about me.

I met DR Shieh when he performed surgery on my wife. My wife and daughter (OR nurse) had spoken highly of him and his practice numerous times. I discussed with DR. Shieh the fact that I had acid reflux since in my 20’s (now 62) and been on medication for years and now on double dose Nexium with little result. DR. Shieh informed me of a medical device called a LINX, which he felt that i would be a good candidate for. After the surgery I remained on the medication but did noticed almost immediately that I did not have the acid break throughs that normally had. A short while later DR. Shieh began weening me off of the medication. It has been several months now since the installation of the LINX device. I am completely off Nexium and I have no acid reflux whatsoever. Thank you DR. Shieh and Surgical Healing Arts Center in Fort Myers, FL.

Dr Shieh ended my dads life with laparoscopic surgery. Every year on Fathers Day it’s a reminder of that awful day. He is NOT an MD but a DO. He assured me he would care for my dad as if it were his own father. Our hearts are forever broken.
