Came highly recommended by someone I trusted. The initial consultation was abrupt. He wasn't interested in listening to me, answered my questions with 1 or 2 word answers or not at all and practically ran me out of his office. Thought I caught him on a bad day and let it go. Allowed him to perform a Cardiac Catherization. While coming out of anesthesia he mumbled something about how the procedure went. Never saw or heard from him again-even after returning to the emergency room 11 hours later and being admitted with the same chest pain/shortness of breath I had before the 2 stents were placed. When hospital staff determined that a second CC was needed the it was scheduled with a doctor I had never heard of and no one bothering to inform me of what the objective was or why it was necessary. I cancelled the procedure and contacted his office requesting to speak him. I was told "you have a follow-up appt in 5 days. You can talk to him then." BTW, the appt was with his Phys Assistant.

this is without a doubt a great doctor, no nonsense just straight answers, very tough doctor to see, but well worth the wait, had ct angioplasty performed 2 weeks ago at gulf cost hospital with one stent put in I feel like a new man I am 69 years old with diabetes type 2 and weight issues,God gave me another chance.God bless doctor Illic for this new lease on life!

Dr. Ilic is a doctor that is thorough. He is compassionate and has a fun side. He explains things so that I understand what is going on.His staff has been wonderful to deal with as they have been pleasant and tried to help whenever I have needed.You will not find a better cardiologist as far as I'm concerned.

My hubby had appointment today, were walking out the door now & the office calls, and they don't have has records!! They had 10 days to get the records faxed to them!! Office staff is pityful!! On record my hubby is Dr. Robert Vestevich, we will search in Naples for better service!!!!

If I could give him 10 stars I would!!! He absolutely saved my life! He's an amazing Dr.; very caring and knows his stuff!!! I have gone to Dr. Ilic since 1/1/07; so you might say that I have a pretty good idea of what he knows and how he treats his patients! He is so caring and gentle and I OWE HIM MY LIFE I just cannot imagine that ANYONE would not feel the same as I do if they were being taken care of by this wonderful Doctor!!!

I needed cardiac clearance for surgery within a week because of a newly found tumor. Office staff stated "Dr. Ilic cannot clear you for surgery, change your date of surgery." This is a medical decision not made by Dr. Ilic, but made by office flunkies who have no medical degrees. Abuse of their authority. My last visit the staff lost an insurance authorization. They did not allow me to see Dr. Ilic, even though I got Blue Cross on the phone which agreed to approve an authorization then and there. I was denied my scheduled visit because the office staff blamed me and stated "This should have been done earlier." They threatened to call the police if I did not leave. Incompetent, abusive, and care nothing about elderly people with heart problems. I filed a complaint with Lee Health.

Dr. Ilic is excellent. He saved my life. BUT HIS OFFICE STAFF ARE TERRIBLE. VIOLATED MY PATIENT RIGHTS. MADE A MEDICAL DECISION FOR THE DOCTOR WITHOUT CONSULTING HIM, A DECISION BEYOND THE LEGAL SCOPE OF THE OFFICE STAFF AUTHORITY. I needed surgery within a week for a tumor. I called to schedule an appointment for cardiac clearance. Office staff told me "Dr. Ilic cannot clear you for surgery. Change your date of surgery." A medical decision. Mishandled insurance authorization. Blamed my PCP.

Dr. llic is a very kind, knowledgeable cardiac physician who takes plenty of time with me during my visits. I highly recommend him.
