Mazin Shikara's Online Review Report Card

Zariyah At the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. She lacks the basic customer service skills; Good morning, how May I help…As I walk into the door, she says go sign in at the kiosk. After signing in, I proceed to ask questions about a copay. She over talks me, with a very abrasive condescending tone, to the point I can’t get in a word at all. She’s rolling her eyes as to project I’m an inconvenience to her morning. She wasn’t smiling and attitude was she didn’t want to be at work. I’m asking her for her name and she rudely/confidently said I’m not giving you my name. This validated my perception of Zariyah’s attitude, as unprofessional, lack of customer service courtesy that was tolerated by this company. Finally , a pleasant young lady came out the door to ask for my Drivers License and proceeded to answer my question. By this time the office manger Ruth came in to interject with the conversation between Zariyah and I. The office manager should have had her employee to go to the back of the office for lack of professionalism. The manager finally took me to a room to finish conversing with me. By this time, Tyrone, Lashonda and the PA took care of me with exceptional service/care. Because of their front desk staff this office is a 1 star service. Your front desk staff is a representative of your company. Don’t be fool by the reviews given 5 stars to their front desk, all lies if it’s Zariyah. Most likely relatives or company employees. I will never ever give them my business…As a veteran of a 25 years retired military officer spouse I will never ever give my business to this company..Zeroes stars if it was an option….Get new lobby chairs, they are so filthy dirty…This company is making too much money for chairs to look like urine and poop stains. I wouldn’t even let my dogs sit in those chairs… Looks like they came from a dumpster..

VbivianeDr Shikara is an excellent Doctor. really care for his patients but now his staff in Jupiter is terrible.

Never got to see the doctor because, though I was ON TIME for my appt I was late for my time to fill out paperwork..WHAT A JOKE hope I will not have to go back to this office. Would not recommend this office if this is their rule. The attitutude girl behind the window didn't even care to see if I could fill out the paperwork quickly, though AGAIN I WAS ON TIME for my appt, actually 15 minutes early!!

The staff here are terrible, the doctors not much better. Do not rely on them to do anything you ask. They reschedule appointments on the day you are due in, they do not send test results as requested, they treat you as if you are disturbing their day. Their patient portal is just not updated and so is useless. Really have nothing good to say about them, a terrible experience throughout. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUNCH FOR YOUR MEDICAL CARE!

I've seen the doctors in the the Port St. Lucie office and in the St. Lucie West office ~ the doctors are wonderful, but the key diagnostic equipment is obviously lacking. During visits in both offices, it's apparent that Dr. Shikara is not equipping his offices properly. Staff was constantly popping into the patient room for ear equipment, stethoscope, etc. I've had 5 different doctors in 7 years and it may be because the doctors aren't paid enough, or have complaints about the way the office is run. I don't know, but I sure wish I could keep one of Dr. Skikara's doctors for longer than a year.

I just came back this afternoon from a visit with Dr. Shikara and he was very considerate and knowledgeable. His practice has actually grown and he was explaining that there is always a transition with situations like that. He was very forthcoming which I find very genuine. Back to the health experience, very satisfied with my visit and will continue to see Dr. Shikara in Jupiter. I just wanted to come back to this site because I read the comments.

At first I wasn't sure about him, he's a very busy man and seems to try and do it all. He was never on time and the waiting room was full. Once I started seeing him on a regular basis he was truly a very through doctor. He really cared about you.....now he's not at the regular office anymore and I was switched to see another doctor and I'm really not liking this new doctor.......Bambi, good luck.

Actually a good practitioner and seemed to care (at least with us). The office staff is and has been typical medical office staff - but don't complain - he married one of them! All doctors refer to their cronies, so we need to get used to that. All health consumers should do their homework through DOH websites for claims, complaints, etc.

Avoid this doctor. He doesn't care about patients at all. What he loves is to make MONEY. He is not professional at all.
