Years ago, when I was told I needed to see a cardiologist, I was concerned. I need not have been. Doctor Tobar has asked all the right questions, has run the right tests and has provided me with the kind of treatment we used to see on television shows in the 1950s. He knows his stuff. And the staff in his office makes sure that I am treated on time and with kid gloves. Well, latex gloves, but with friendly professional care. If I call with a question, I get the answer right away or by return call. Meds are reviewed to make sure I am responding as expected. Doctor Tobar and his staff work with my other care-providers as parts of a team. You can trust him, too.

I have been Dr Tobar's patient for over 12 years. He is a kind and patient man who takes the time to listen to all of my concerns and answers all of my questions. I trust Dr Tobar and recommend him to everyone I know.

Dr. Tobar is a "The Glass is 1/2 empty Doctor". Has you do multiple test not explaining why the test, and then when the test is completed does a bad job of detailing how the test turned out other than "OK" Has a gloom and doom attitude and I left each appointment depressed. I finally gave up and went to another cardiologist.

Dr. Tobar is a very professional cardiologist who has performed life saving catheterization,and implanting stents in my heart. Both times he performed precision implantation and was courteous throughout the procedures which by the way were emergency instances that required timely performance. Dr. Tobar along with the caring and professional staff at Lawnwood Heart Institute were responsible for saving my life. My highest praises and gratitude go out to Dr. Tobar and Dr. Chslasani for saving me.

I would like to say that Dr. Tobar is an exceptional man. He is what you would call the calm in the mist of my storm. My son's father was transferred to Lawnwood, having a heart attack with a 100% blockage and God was able to guide Dr. Tobar's hands and give him great judgement to keep him here with us. I really Thank him and appreciate him for taking care of my son's father, and reacting as he did. Dr. Tobar is compassionate, caring, great at his profession, and highly recommended by me.

staff was very efficient and helpful.Dr Tobar was very helpful and informative took a lot of time explaining different options that were available to me and most importantly had me in at my appointed time which was a nice experience also. Keep the good work !!!!!
