Husband had been suffering with symptoms for 17+ years. In all that time not one doctor or urologist could diagnose the complaint. She gave him a diagnosis within the first 5 minutes of his first appointment and had him in for surgery asap. She is the best you'll find anywhere.

Never returns you call...I needed a prescription refilled and called the office 4 days and left numerous messages with no response. Even made an in person visit to the office to explain the importance of the prescription and was told to go home and I would receive a call. That was 2 days ago and still no call. Unprofessional and uncaring. Today I went to another doctor who understood my distress and assisted me right away. I do not recommend this office to anyoneBEWARE

I’ve only waited past my appointment time a handful of times, and for a Dr. in this area that is saying something. I’ve never felt rushed, she listened to all my concerns and exhausted all avenues before moving on to more invasive ones.

Appointment was on time. The doctor explained things to me that was easy to understand. She took her time to talk.

I saw so many reviews describing Dr. Oelrich as compassionate and caring that I thought maybe I just saw her on a bad day, but I have since spoken with enough other female urology patients that it is clear to me that my experience was not unique. After waiting 4 hours between being put in an exam room and seeing Dr. Oelrich, she interrupted me describing my bladder history and dismissed me. Told me it was impossible for me to know that this pain was from my bladder (this was several years into diagnosis and 1 surgery in for me, so that wasnt really a question at this point, I only left my old doctor because of a move). She said 'what do you want me to about it?' And when the PA with her tried to ask me followup questions, she cut her off as well. I don't know what conditions (or genders)those who said she was compassionate to them are, but it seems to me that she doesn't believe all patients are worth her time. I certainly did not feel I was treated with even basic professionalism.

Dr. Oelrich is an outstanding physician whom I trust implicitly. She takes whatever time is necessary for each appointment, never rushing. I did not get to see her this latest time for some reason, so I didn't have the chance to discuss lab results.
