Dr Sandwith along with Dr Patel and surgical team did an amazing quadruple bypass on me. I went in for a stint and Dr Powell turned me over to this team of doctors who gave me a new heart and another chance at life, what has been a blessing. I truly feel like a new man and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart(no pun intended :) I also want to thank George my CVICU nurse who got me up and going as soon as I got to CVICU out of surgery. Dr. Patel and Sandwith performed a 2x2 CABG surgery on me February 3rd, 2020. My surgery came about very suddenly and unexpected. Dr's Patel and Sandwith explained to me the details of what would happenbefore and after surgery when I would wake up. I never felt any worry at all. I knew then, I was in extremely competent hands. After the successful surgery a terrific team of doctors checked on me every day I was in the hospital and kept any questions I had moving forward in recovery answered. They also got me started on the right foot with an excellent home care team that works closely with their office to keep them informed on a part of my incision that was healing slowly. It was noted I have very sensitive skin and this was something I personally knew and dealt with, but he and his office stayed on top of it and also set me up with wound care visits. All has come along nicely. I would 100% recommend Dr. Patel and Dr. Sandwith to anyone needing this lifesaving surgery and I thank God I was placed in their skilled hands!

Ten years ago 2-13-2010, Dr. Sandwith operated on my husband following a heart attack. In the months and years since his very successful surgery I have had doctors occasionally look at me surprised and say that they remember the case and say "Your husband was REALLY sick!" So I know the case was discussed around the hospital and my husband was not given very good odds. Dr. Sandwith fought for him and encouraged him in addition to doing very find surgical work. Dr. Sandwith was also uniformly courteous to nurses and family. This week my husband will play pickleball 2 to 3 times, have breakfast with retired colleagues and lunch with high school buddies, provide security at church, participate in American Legion and FOP meetings, delight in our grandchildren, laugh with family and friends and be blessing every day. I think of Dr. Sandwith often and indeed do that God for him upon every remembrance.

Dr Sandwith is by far the best Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon in this area. My whole family will be seeing Dr Sandwith if the need arises. I've seen many of his patients recover and live their fullest lives. The negative reviews are people who are sad their loved one passed, but there are always 2 sides to the story and usually there were underlying issues the negative reviewers conveniently left out.

Three years ago, Dr. Sandwith replaced my aortic valve and triple bypass. Today I am doing GREAT! Dr. Sandwith is the best! I absolutely 100% unconditionally recommend Dr. Sandwith.

My visit was made by referral from Dr. Yendel to Dr. Sandwith. The visit went very well and i thought extremely cordial.

I was very satisfied. Dr. Sandwith was very kind and informative. As his office is very close to my house, it is much easier for me to have a Doctor close by. Office staff was very kind and they even called me for earlier appt than I was scheduled.
