There is so much I could say about Dr. H and every bit of it is positive. He is very straight forward and wants nothing but the best outcome for his patients. My pregnancy journey felt like a nightmare and that had nothing to do with the doctors but my own medicals issues that continuously arose. I've been a patient for years & can say with out a doubt if I somehow became pregnant again I certainly wouldn't be leaving this practice! The ONLY reason I did not give the full 5 stars is because of the front office staff & billing. Depending on the staff that day, it's hit or miss on whether it'll be a pleasant encounter. I was high risk so I was seen 2x a week every week and became quite familiar with majority of the staff there. The entire back office staff (techs, nurses, doctors) are great!

I cant give this this place 5 stars because everytime I call I am rudely cut off by the receptionist I believe her name is jessica. Other than that I have been going here for years and love it. But never fails everytime I call I get the same rude reception who cuts me off in the middle of explaining what I am calling for.

I had an urgent issue that I needed to be seen on short notice. I called the office and was explaining to the receptionist my issue. She interrupted me multiple times to the point that I asked her if I needed to call back at a time that was more convenient. She told me to continue and in the middle of trying to explain, she said so what is it exactly that you need to be seen for? I explained to her that I was trying to tell her and she scoffed and sighed and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. She was rude and then told me I couldn’t be seen for 20 days!! I stressed the importance of trying to be seen and she did not care. So I declined the appointment. I’ve been going to see Dr. Hennessey and his staff for nearly 21 years. I will never return to this facility. They have lost me as a patient. Also, the person answering the phone, if they are not medical, need to triage and send the info to a nurse or MA before making the decision to say no on the phone. I work in healthcare and I never would have declined bringing that patient in, even if we have to squeeze them at the end of the day. I’m so disheartened that one person ruined me ever going back. And I’m sure if Dr. Hennessy knew they were treating his patients like that, he would be more than upset! I’m pretty sure her name is Vanessa, Jessa, Jessica, or something similar. You should not be in healthcare!

KEEP LOOKING! Especially if you are pregnant. Dr.Hennessey is far too busy for the patients he has and continues to accept more. Not once but twice in a month and a half did his staff throw away my urine. I was dropping off for infection and no one even called to let me know. When I called they suggested I go to Urgent Care since the weekend was approaching, that’s more out of pocket I had to pay but I went. When I mentioned this to the Dr. he never apologized and just said “heads rolled” for it. Upon exiting the room he said, “continue the antibiotics they gave you and if you have any issues come drop another sample so we can throw it away again”. As if this i infection in a pregnant woman were a laughing matter. I tried to forgive but after the second time I couldn’t trust anything comfortably. After I transferred to another doctor and had an ultrasound they said it looked like my fibroid hadn’t grown anymore...I was never told from Hennessey’s office I had a fibroid but it was noted in my file. I pray this office slows down and starts tending to the women they already have. Anywhere you call will be have a long wait to get in as new patients but it may save you a headache down the road.

I was recommended to this office by a family friend for had just had a baby. Maybe if you are pregnant already this office may work for you. But if you are trying to start your family like my husband and I for a year and a half, I would tell you to just go further down the street to another doctor.First appt goes alright. Staff isn't super helpful or friendly upon first meeting but i thought it was just me. I never got to see Dr. Hennessey, instead I got a PA to talk about my fertility issues. (Not an easy topic.) PA prescribes me meds to kick start ovulation and I was finally relived to have someone help me. She tells me to call back for a refill if I didn't start my period. With no luck I call back for the refill. Different PA tells me that that isn't our plan, I will have to wait two weeks. If still nothing call back and make an appointment. This is already after I had to call for my blood work results myself because they never would call me. I called after two weeks dues to no changes, yet another lady tells me they have no plan for me and will have to come back into the office to speak to someone.So maybe this office is great if you are currently pregnant. But if you are struggling to start a family, this office cares nothing about helping you succeed with that. LIke I said just go down the street and get better care.

Megan Dixon-Sherman is a GREAT Gynecologist PA. She made me feel comfortable & listened to my concerns. I really felt that she wanted to help me. It was my first ever visit & she made it quick, easy, & effective.The receptionists are also nice. This clinic was the only one willing to see me within a week as opposed to 3 months.

We had a great experience with Dr Hennessey/Sydney Howk, and their entire staff. I'm not sure how others had such bad experiences with the office staff, as we were there for many many appointments, and they were always nothing but friendly with us.I love that they have their own ultrasound technician in office, and also love the fact that Dr. Hennessey included a midwife into his practice. I believe they're doing things right there.If we're ever lucky enough to have another baby I would happily use them as our providers again.

Dr Sidney Howk and Dr Hennessy are awesome. Staff always pleasant and efficient. This is our 2nd baby and very happy we decided on this office.

Great Dr.!!!

I had the worst first time experience with this office as my OBYN. First when I called to schedule my first appt it took a month to get it after i confirm with the customer service all my personal information, because they asked me did anything change. I confirmed that my insurance was the only thing. After telling them my insurance they was able to schedule my first appt. The day of my appointment I got a call a few mins Before saying they have to reschedule at the last min due to the tech leaving. After waiting a whole 2 weeks w a reschedule, today I go in not only was the customer service lady rude to me, but also found out they did not accept my insurance and I was turnt away refusing to let me pay out of pocket instead. Since I have been waiting for so long. I’m now 15 weeks pregnant and this pregnancy is rough... Thank God I was able to find a much reliable Dr n Niceville with Great customer service who is able to see me at the end of the month and the lady was nice enough to put me on a list incase a patient was to cancel after hearing the hassle I went throu with Dr Hennessy office. I dislike leaving poor reviews but this was not the first time I’ve had issue with this office when I had him as my GYN. I take it as a sign that my baby Nd me deserves better
