List of White-Wilson Medical Center's Reviews
I'm not retyping all this out on another app. My review of how I was treated as a regular patient is on White Wilson's Facebook page. Not good. How much more do you want before you will accept post?
Been using this facility f neer had a problem it's very comforting to know that I have White Wilson whenever I need help
This is the third time I've shown up at a lab to have blood taken after Being told to come in at this time and only after fasting. as instructed I came in only to discover that they're sorry but today they're shorthanded please come back for another appointment. I swear the only business that seems to be affected by this Covid crap are medical facilities. I can go shopping I can go to the bank I can go out to eat I can even go to a strip joint but I can't go in and have blood taken so that I can keep my doctors appointment. What part of this Covid apocalypse does the medical industry not understand? Do you like all the other businesses hire more people to meet the needs of your clients/patients.
I have visited this clinic around 3 or 4 times (by appointment) due to it being my only option as I am on short term medical insurance and White Wilson is the only place that accepts my plan. I can say that I strongly agree with the majority of the other reviews that I have been reading. I can only recall one appointment where I felt like the doctor or nurse truly cared about me or my medical issue. Other than this one occasion, the other three visits have been accompanied by sarcasm, and rushed service by Immediate Care and Family Care. I am not saying that everyone at this clinic treats their patients this way, but I am saying that many others have had my same experience here and this says a lot about some of the health care workers at this facility. This is a problem because it is a simple fact that all medical patients want to feel heard and important especially when facing challenging health problems.
I was sent here to do a DOT physical and drug test. I saw the reviews and thought dam this place is going to give me a hard time, but let me tell you they did a great job! From the front staff to the back staff! They were all amazing and professional! Dr Mills was great, I would highly recommend this place! Quick and efficient.
that 1 star is way too high. this place is quackery to include the nurses and rest of that rude abusive staff over there. ripped off for their computers. don't go here if you want to live!
I'm not going to go into the details after already sending an email to White Wilson. I just want to warn anyone that if there is an appointment mix up and your told to bring your child to immediate care JUST DON'T do it as there are some very sick people in there. They should not have even suggested it and it should be protocol right now to NOT send anyone there without good reason. Also, not all but alot of the office staff could care less about you or your child. The nicest person in the whole place was the janitor who ask if I needed a wheel chair for my daughter as she could not walk on an injured foot. Find another clinic as they are to busy to care about you or yours.
Possibly the worst experience at a doctors office, ever. Upon arrival, I was just stared at while the receptionist (took me asking multiple times what she's doing) was attempting to get in touch with the nurse. Apparently it's frowned upon to arrive 16 minutes early. They want you to wait at least 30 minutes. Then after you wait another 15 minutes, they'll eventually tell you that you were supposed to do something they require, but never informed you of. Then when you do that thing, they'll tell you that it's now past your appointment time and you can't be seen today. Not their fault, though. Sorry - *sigh.NWF medical care is not good, but it's places like this that make it terrible. I was warned about this place, but wanted to give them a try. I'm sorry I wasted my time.
Although the surgeon, Dr. Abraisley, was affable and skilled, his office support staff was horrible. They failed to order in home nursing and medical supplies post op. They do not have sufficient staffing to answer the phone and often do not return messages over days. If there had been a complication, it would have been impossible to receive an immediate return call. I would avoid this practice until they get their administrative act together.
This is just about the worst medical facility I've gone to with the exception of the doctor, Dr. John E. Mills and the x-ray technician. All of the other nurses (?), intake folks, etc. were terrible. Talking about getting lunch and dilly-dallying instead of just coming in and giving me a shot. Total experience was 3 hours. Intake nurse treated me like I was mentally deficient and when I tried to give her helpful info like, 5 times, she ignored me making the process take that much longer. She mentioned something about her wife as if to get a negative reaction out of me (??) because she wasn't interested in having a conversation. Very weird.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
