Dwight Dawkins's Online Review Report Card

The Dr himself is a a Very competent friendly physician he is extremely poorly represented by his administrative staff. I hope he’s aware of what’s going on in the front of his house. As a result of incredibly incompetent communication from his office staff I wound up in the emergency room two times. I hope someone in the future will get through to this fine physician he deserves better representation.

I have no problem with the doctor(s) or nurse practioners. With the exception of Jessie, the office staff is horrible. They only answer the phones when they feel like it, and that is a rare occurrance. If you call repeatedly, they play a game called "hold and dump", where they answer then hang up without speaking. Without exageration, I have called munltiple times every day for over a week without getting an actual answer. If you can't speak to or get a call back from a doctor, they are worthless regardless of theit skills. I changed from the Fort Pierce offine to the PSL location but this problem is systemic in their praxctice almpst as if it is encouraged. my advice....patient beware!

My husband goes to Dr Dawkins, and is very happy with his care. He recommends him to everyone !!!

Regretfully the answering service is a disaster the posted office hours on the Internet if you Google Dr. Dwight Dawkins it says the offices are open until 5 PM maybe that should be addressed.

I have been a patient of Dr.Dawkins for years and all the providers are great! I have been to both locations, but ever since the gentleman that works the front desk at the Fort Pierce Office was moved to the Port Saint Lucie office, it seems like the Fort Pierce staff just doesn't know how to get things done in a promptly manner. Although Dr.Dawkins is a great doctor, I now go to the Port Saint Lucie office because the staff is a lot more efficient.

Kindest primary I've ever had. Only get insurance if they are on list. They listen to your concerns. Very professional.Never a long wait to be seen.

Dr. Dawkins is one of the best doctors i have had, SINCE MY ACCIDENT, HE HAS BE TAKING CARE OF ME AND MY WIFE FOR 12 yrs, AND HE SENDS US TO THE BEST DOCTORS FOR OPERATION AND OTHER CARE THAT WE MAY NEED. HE REALLY CARES FOR HIS PATIENCE, BUT MOST OF ALL HE TALKS TO YOU AND TELL YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS, SOME MY NOT LIKE TO BE TOLD WHATS GOING ON WITH THEM, AND WHAT CAN BE THE OUT COME, BUT I DO, IF YOU WANT A DOCTOR TO SURGAR COAT IT FOR YOU, DOCTOR D. IS NOT THE DOCTOR FOR YOU. HE IS GOING TO GET THE JOB DONE, THANKS TO DR. DAWKINS AND HIS STAFF, IM ABLE TO HAVE A NORMAL LIFE. AND MY WIFE RECEIVED A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE. AWFUL Support STAFF!!! Cannot follow through to simply send the request for lab work to the lab. Twice I was at the lab first thing in the A.M. waiting, to find out the orders were not there. Called to verify and was promised the orders would be there, was told they were in her hand and ready to fax immediately. This has happened before...terrible.

I called for an appointment 0n 4/1/20. I spoke to the receptionist and she didn't have answers for anything. I need someone to Take over my medication for depression and diabetes temporarily till I find another endocrinologist and psychiatrist because I'm moving from Pennsylvania to Port St. Lucie I would have given my records to the doctor. She didn't even check. Primary care physicians can and do that in a temporary basis. I told her that wouldn't work for me and she said bye and hung up. She didn't even check. I also had to tell her my blue cross number 3 times before she could get it right. The Doctor Dawkins sounds nice but his staff just made him lose a patient.
