Almost 60yo. Worst Practice Ever.
Satisfied
I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism and care I received from Dr. Katta & his staff. I had a problem that I needed some attention. Manny took excellent care of me & Dr. Katta followed up to make sure I was doing better.Highly recommend!
This office Staff needs to definitely do better and better is not even the wordThe presentation/ Customer Service very tasteless and unwelcomingThe Patient not taking the patient serious enoughThe Dr prolongs appointmentswaits entirely to long to diagnose get your results and come up with a solution you will be dead by the time you’ve been seen by this office will be back to add more of my feed back
Redefining slooooooow
While the medical staff is fantastic, the person in charge of sending the prescriptions request is lacking. She keeps sending my prescription requests to Walgreens. At the same time, we have requested to be sent to Express Scripts. Somehow this appears to be an issue of extreme difficulty. Express Scripts how solicited the prescription two or three times by fax. The last request went on October 21st, 2020. Express Scripts claims that there has been no contact by the Doctor’s office. Office staff needs more and substantial training.
Administrative staff is terrible....don't return calls, they are abrupt and careless. Doctor didn't get back to me with MRi results. Even worse, they dropped ball before a diagnosis.i have been involved with this office for 7 months, still no idea of what my condition is. Refused to give me a referral for an MRI of my lower spine even though weThey refused to give me a referral for a spine MRI even though we discussed that may well be the problem. I am in tears! I haven't the strength right now to elaborate but I could easily list 20 issues that were handled poorly.
This office is so unorganized. I was supposed to have a procedure scheduled, and I waited over a week for a phone call since the doctor told me that his office would call and schedule it. I never received a phone call, and when I called to ask what was the time and date of my procedure, the receptionist stated that she found out my insurance would not cover it, but she "forgot" to call and tell me that.
I called asking if they took my insurance and they put me on hold and then when she came back she just hung up on me.
This doctor made a gross error which resulted in the prolonged suffering and ultimately the death of my Mother. She went to him describing symptoms of ulcerative colitis, for which he had treated her 2 years prior. He insisted that it could not be a relapse of UC and refused to do the necessary diagnositc testing (a colonoscopy) which would have clearly diagnosed it. As a result, my Mother suffered tremendously with excruciating bowel pain and excessive bloody diarrhea for several months. By the time we got her into appropriate care, she was severely malnourished, extremely anemic and the new doctor said it was one of the worst cases of UC he had ever seen and recommended a bowel resection. The rest is very sad history. This doctor is arrogant and dismissive and I would give him negative stars if I could. The death of my Mother and having watched her suffer endlessly and unnecessarily as she did is something that no other patient should have to experience. That is why I am writing this review.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
