Dr. Tory Sullivan's Online Review Report Card

I’m a new patient and I’m very happy to have Dr Tori as my Dermatologist, his very professional and caring for his pts. Also staffs are very nice and helpful.

Promptly taken in for appt. Exam was thorough. A prescription which was phoned into my pharmacy in a county 270 miles away. Dr.Sullivan is the best!

I brought my 80 year old mother, a breast Cancer and a brain tumor survivor, who is not fluent in English to Dr. Tory Sullivan's office in North Miami to get his opinion on the black marks on her skin. I informed his assistance from the beginning that I need to accompany my mother inside the office during consultation to explain / update the doctor on her condition etc. as she was not fluent in English. We wanted to get a second opinion from this doctor on my mom's condition. Shockingly, I was not allowed to accompany my old mother in the room till much later and as soon as I walked in the examination room, I began updating the doctor on my mothers condition, responding to his questions and advised him that my sister had also taken my mother to another specialist and began showing him my mothers biopsy test results that were conducted months ago. Dr. Tory Sullivan went went ballistic after I told him the above !! His focus turned away from my mothers skin / health condition to his disrespectful, rude and extremely unprofessional behavior and he began complaining why we never told him that we had seen another doctor before seeing him. I was in shock and I explained to the doctor that I was telling him all that as soon as I was allowed in the examination room to see him as I had specifically told his assistant that my mom is old and not a good communicator especially since English was not her first language. Dr. Sullivan continued with his arrogant, rude, unprofessional behavior and continued complaining and hashing 95% of the time regarding the same issue of why he was not informed that my mother had seeing another doctor prior to seeing him. He had no respect for my 80 year old mother and me and showed very poor bed side manners. He was insensitive, rude to my mothers health condition and overlooked all that with his extremely low mannered, loud, aggressive, arrogant and rude behavior. After asking him to stop several times and telling him that he was being extremely unprofessional and rude, I asked Dr. Tory Sullivan to leave the examination room immediately so my mother could change as we did not want his services and we were done with him and we wanted to leave. It was SHOCKING and I will NEVER recommend anyone to see this doctor who is absolutely arrogant, egoistic, unprofessional, rude, insensitive and has no manners how to treat patients, especially the elderly. Shame on him !!

Very nice Dr and staff . I took my mom for her annual check up since she had history of basal cell carcinoma and he was great . I’m glad I was able to find a great Dr. Who listens and explain everything in detail . Staff was very courteous

Made a same day appointment and was so happy they could see me the same day. I get there and they tell me they can’t help me because I don’t have my drivers license with me I had my passport. I then tell her a passport is a form of an identification. She tells me no it’s a policy. After basically begging and pleading I find a picture of my drivers license on my phone. She said it’s ok. I fill all the intake documents out. Then she asks for my credit or debit card and I ask her how much would I have to pay. She said it’s 20 percent of the visit. She said If I can’t pay it I can leave and cancel. So I say ok can I please get an estimate of at least how much it would be. She says I don’t know you can cancel and leave if you would like. I said well I would want to know to make sure I can afford please give me a range. Now that is after I left and came back. She said I don’t know. Very unprofessional place anybody paying for a product or a service would want to know how much they would spend. I left and they didn’t even care. I have never been treated like this ever in my life and specially from a doctors office. I would of paid if they would of at least given me a range of what it would of cost to make sure it was in my budget. Who just goes blindly to pay for a service and not knowing what it is. Never thought a doctors office would treat a prospective patient this way. I will be reporting this to the Florida department of health.

I've seen the doc a few times. He and his staff are always friendly and eager to be of help. The front desk folks couldn't be more pleasant!!
