The staff here is amazing words cant explain just how amazing and professional they are. I had surgery and have been going back and forwarded for like like a month or so. Everytime I have went to an appointment the staff have went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Thanks Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
My husband was admitted with many medical problems. From the ED to icu 3rd floor cath lab surgery and cvicu my husband was given excellent care. All staff and especially Dr. Sandwith were great also therapy. No complaints from us and appreciate all the care. Made a difficult time easier. Thank you for all you did I don’t understand all the complaints. I know how hard the nurses work and it was greatly appreciated. Thank you Bill and Raelynne Lacroix
Outstanding
I cant complain about the way I was treated during my outpatient experience. Very nice anesthesiologist. Nurses were kind.
Relatively easy sign in. Parking was a bit more adventurous due to ongoing construction. Staff were great. All in all a very good experience.
I was sent to the ER by urgent care for my blood pressure and everyone was super nice and caring except for the intake nurse at the desk I dont think she should have been the first person you come in contact with at an emergency room. She was very cold and seemed to hate her job. Someone came in behind me that was having some mental and self harm issues and I was disturbed by her lack of care and her abruptness when dealing with them. Seemed like a situation like that calls for someone to be more caring and compassionate. All the other nurses and Healthcare professionals I came in contact with and observed were great but definitely think the person at the intake counter when you first come in to the ER should have atleast some compassion.
Always friendly staff. The doctors and PA’s are very caring and take time to listen to your issues. The ER is very helpful and make you feel comfortable. I’ve been very pleased with FWBMC
My stay at FT Walton Hospital was with mixed feelings. I feel the hospital would be better serve with regular nurses instead of traveling nurses. Seems like to me Regular nurses are more professional than traveling nurses. The food I had was terrible except for the vegetables and canned peaches which probally was the best thing I ate there. I ask for a chicken breast and was sent a chopped hamburger steak. The gravy was undesirable on the potatoes or chopped hamburger. Probally canned seasoned with deydraded onions?? Probally should ask people about the incredients in their food before offer any food on the whim. The Doctor I had was great I really appreiate what he did for me. Dr SIEFKER.The radiogy department was excellent. Really professional in what they do every day.The Emergency department was excellent.ICU dept was good. The only exception There should be a place to take restroom break in private instead of using portable devices. And thank to other Drs clean up crew and other staff who provided care during my visit.ThanksWilliam Graves
Hospital refused my information about how I was feeling and during the week my whole body aches and my head throbbing when I cough. Fever up and down.
I want to thank the administration for redesigning Ft Walton beach medical center. Because every staff member I encountered and who cared for me gave me great and professional care.Thank you

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
