List of Adil Kabeer's Reviews
Dr. Kabeer performed mucous cyst and osteophyte surgery on my right index finger on 3/2/22. Done under general anesthesia which I thought was weird, and did not put a hard splint on it to make sure the stitches stayed put even though this is listed as standard procedure on the OI website. At two week check up, the stitches had all come apart and a splint was finally put on my finger. Six weeks post-op, my finger has more pain and more swelling than the original issue. Waited two hours past my appointment time on 4/19/22 at his Lake City office. Found out while waiting that he double-books and schedules patients too close together. After politely conveying my displeasure to him, he refused any more treatment on my finger. Told me it is scar tissue and there is nothing else he can do. Referred me to another orthopedic center for a second opinion. Once he knew I wasn't happy, he was extremely dismissive. Disappointed in the surgical outcome and Dr. Kabeer's attitude about the situation.
I work with doctors on a daily basis as a hospital CM. They are very busy people. This is the first time seeing Dr. Kabeer and having surgery on my finger today, which I had basically cut off the tip of my finger with a window falling on it and also a fracture. I have previously seen his work on some friends and it’s looked excellent to me. So I follow up next week! Also Jenny in his office called me and was very helpful with FMLA paperwork.
I was provided with excellent care .
Dr. Kabeer is always supportive and understanding.
Have had prior experience with Dr Kabeer and always found him to be professional and affable....
Dr. Kabeer is not only a great doctor, he is funny and kind.
I had a small sebaceous cyst on my neck. He told me I had to go under general anesthesia to have it removed. I was very sure this was not correct, so consulted with some of my doctor friends. (I asked him if this was necessary and he said something to the effect of, “You don’t want to be moving around while I’m getting it out, do you?” As if I was an idiot.) I ended up asking for a $500 refund on the deposit I left, and I went to Gainesville Dermatology. They used local anesthetic to cut it out and with my insurance it cost me $80. I haven’t any clue why a doctor would think it appropriate to recommend general anesthetic for a simple cyst removal, but it appears to me like a money play. Be very careful when dealing with this fellow. If you think something is wrong, get a second opinion. I am very, very glad I did.
Dr. Kabeer was knowledgable, compassionate, had great bedside manor. Everything I could ask for in a health care professional. Took care of me immediately. Would give 10 stars to him and his staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
