My mother was a patient of Dr. Silverstein. His arrogance, lack of concern, and bad medication choices for her after implanting a pacemaker caused us to change to another cardiologist, a decision that probably saved her life and gave her several more productive years.

Dr. Silverstein never did a catherization of my father, and he should have. As a result, my father had to have open heart on Dec.5th at St. Vincent's in Jacksonville and was in the hospital 50 days before he DIED!! My father was a patient of this quack for four years and the 5 bypasses he had to have surgery for didn't happen overnight! IF Siverstein had done his job instead of talking down to my parents when they went to discuss their concerns about the chest pains he was having...he might still be alive. Thanks for nothing you quack.
