List of Christopher Leber's Reviews
I've been with Simed/ Pain management with Dr Leber for 11 years. I rarely saw Dr Leber which was fine. The last 9 years I saw the PA, which was very through, kind, prompt. No issues in the examing room. I had to change insurance 01/01/23 due to my age (62). Simed doesn't except my new insurance. I found another physician that would accept Medicare Humana. They requested a referral from my previous Dr. I contacted the office to get my referral sent over to the new place on 01/03/2023. I was told Katy handles the referrals. I left Katy many voice mails. I never heard back from her or anyone else. In the meantime I'm checking with the new Dr to see if they received it yet. It was always " no". The following week I drove to the office (I live in Alachua) to speak with Katy. Katy tells me that sending referrals is Dr Lebers job but he's been on vacay and just made it back in the office today. She told me he was currently working on it and things would be square by the end of the day. Needless to say it was still not sent and I didn't receive at least a curiosity call. The following week I drove back up there. Well now, the referral is with Nicole Black and she's working on it. I've called Nicole for 4 days and heard not a word back. So today I pestered the receptionist to speak with Nancy, office manager. "Oh it was sent this morning"! She says. New Dr didn't receive it! (again) I drive over there again and Nancy printed as least as she could. I drove the referral to new Dr. The ladies in the office today were rude, nasty looks! And Katy was not pleasant throughout this ordeal . . . I've never had any issues the whole 11 years I've been seeing them I don't understand why I was treated like a this? Yes, I'm taking it personally. I do not recommend Simed Pain management. I would like to speak with Dr Leber but he doesn't take phone calls. This office staff needs a review. I didn't ask for anything that they are suppose to do! If you call and ask for Katy, her voicemail represents how she and this office staff are conducted. Dr Leber should take note if he wants to keep patients. I had to get this off my chest. Smh
One of the most competent MDs I have interacted with and above all takes the time to get to know his patients and their concerns.
Dr. Leber is very kind. Listens to you and gives you extra advice like exercises that could help you better your pain management. I don't feel like have a time limit with him. I don't feel rushed. He is the same doctor every time I see him. No act.
I have been going to Dr. Leber for over 6 years and he the best physician I have ever been to. Having had polio and a lot of surgeries over the decades, I always felt he understood a patient's plight and in fact would seem to put himself in ones shoes.
I really loved Dr. Leber and was his patient for over a year. Unfortunately because of my over honesty and his dishonesty I was abruptly banned from SIMED for trying marijuana for pain. He would not tell me in person but abruptly cancelled me by mail the day before my appointment and it was the beginning of years of pain and nightmares of extortion from other incompetent doctors that were not as "nice" as he was and I never could get back my old inexpensive pain meds that actually work because of the darned opiod crisis! My health four years later is much diminished as has my happiness because all the things I loved to do has diminished as the loves of my life in frustration divorced me and my daughter has nothing to do with me because I am disabled.
Dr Leber is one of the best doctors I've ever seen! He listens with genuine concern and works to make his patients as comfortable as possible. He gives each appointment the time needed and never seems to be in a hurry to leave before the patient's concerns are addressed. I've been seeing him for over a decade and would never want to leave his practice.
Great doctor very helpful. Follows the law so I am guessing the only bad reviews he has would be from people who failed drug test or who do not have an mri that supports their claim. I have been in pain management for 10 years. I have not met a better person during that time other than Dr. leber. Most of his staff are just alike. Dr. Leber has done more for my pain than the pill mills from 2012 who do not listen just force perceptions on you. He will take the time to know you and your story.
Dr. Leber is a very conscience and caring doctor. He really listens to his patients and thoroughly explains all the medical and options.
I am surprised that Dr.Leber gets any stars at all, being in the specialty that he is. It's pretty darned hard to please a patient who is in pain. That's the only reason I can imagine for the poor ratings he has gotten. I've been with Dr. Leber for about 3 years with a disease that is progressive. He has always shown interest in my problem, taken the time to listen and dealt with me in a kind, professional an
Spends an appropriate amount of time with you and makes you feel like you a Number one in his book.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
