The best doctor! Very patient and kind. He takes his time in answering your questions and wants to be sure you (the patient) understands and is comfortable with decisions made. His quick and knowledgeable decision making most likely saved my life or at the very least saved me from a long road of treatment. His staff is equally kind and so supportive!

Dr. Macedo saved my son life. He has very good bedside manners and really cares for his patients. I wish ever doctor was like him. His staff is also very polite and professional. Me and my son Elijahwan is so great full he was at work that day ??

If you need cancer surgery or any type of digestive surgery this is your Doctor! Doctors like him are relics. You rarely find a doctor that is not only super super talented, but very humble, kind, caring and takes his time with you.... even got with my family when they had questions when I was out of it. When he saw me in pain, he had compassion and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Great great man. Talented doctor, absolutely NOTHING bad to say. My cancer would have killed me.... I am alive today because of his earnestness. If you are told to see this doctor you have nothing to worry about.

I meet Dr mercado at the hospital with pancreatic cancer I'm old and set in my ways and I put the surgery off for as long as I could thanks Dr mercado for not giving up on me and I can say I'm cancer free

Dr. Macedo is an outstanding surgeon and a wonderful person who really cares about his patients. His emergency surgery saved my colon. We need more people like him in this world!!

Dr. Macedo is amazing. I have never had a Dr. that cared so much about his patients. He is kind, understanding and takes his time with you. I am so glad he is the Dr. who took care of me.

Dr. Macedo is very caring and smart. He listens well and answers every question I have. I never feel rushed. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He also has a great sense of humor which goes a long way!

He’s an amazing doctor with the greatest heart... we flew all the way to Florida from Trinidad.. and dr macedo took really good care of my sister.. even though it was too late for her her stood by us and helped us through that whole process as well.. he’s absolutely God sent.. there is no other like him and the team at North Florida.
