List of Justin Yancey's Reviews
Dr. Yancey is one of the best Neurologists I have ever seen. He goes above and beyond for his patients. He listened to my concerns and addressed them appropriately. He took his time in the room to go over the best therapy for me. If you are looking for a Neurologist I highly recommend Dr. Yancey!
I would give negative, but that would even be too kind. Do not waste your time. Listen to ALL of the reviews for this practice, they don’t lie. First, let’s discuss Dr Yancy. Run. Stay away. Waste of human flesh and education, because neither work in his favor. Don’t worry though, he will delight it in reminding you that “nothing will be seen” on an MRI that hasn’t even been done yet, who knew he would read the future! I knew at that point I should have paid out of pocket, (only switched due to insurance but rather pay the cash after this train wreck of a doctors office), but I will do what Dr Yancey said and go back to my original Neuro since he knows more. Yeah, he does because he actually sounded educated and discussed issues unlike this pompous blob of flesh called Dr Yancy. Not all patients are the same, so stop acting like we are all just there to waste our time because it’s not a case that excites you. SIMED Neuro is a joke. You’re at your job, Doctor. Sound intelligent, because you come off as an idiot 2nd year med student who will never be allowed a fellowship. But don’t ask questions or push issues that are concerning, because the man baby will cry. Yeah so, Yancy has the attitude of someone who should be better than what he is, but comes off as pompous pouty who never got picked during recess and is now a doctor to make those pay. He’s a joke of a human. No one needs your boredom, you half rate doctor. Don’t waste your time. Go to UF, go out of town. Do what you can to avoid this practice, unless you like to waste your money and time. Just a disgusting, Doctor and I’m hesitant to even call him that. I will however file a grievance against his license with the board. Patients deserve better than this. Why are you even having appointments if you don’t have all the records? Get your office straight. Absolutely waste of money and time.
Dr. Yancey is kind, caring and honest. He inspired me to quit drinking! Almost 2 years sober thanks to him <3 Jenny Lou Davis
Amazing!!! Like seriously treats you like a friend. I love this doctor and he actually helped me with my issues.
Do not waste your time at Simed Health and with Dr. Justin Yancey. It was my first visit and he did not want to see me. I spent 10 to 15 minutes there, and Dr. Yancey's answers to all of my health questions were "I don't know. I don't know why you have this, I don't know why you are here, I don't know." And he'd smirk like he didn't care. All I could say was, "I don't know, I thought you were a doctor and a specialist in my problem." A first appointment with a real neurologist would always last at least an hour and a physician that cares would help you figure out what is wrong. He is just in it for the money, not to help people. Take your chances elsewhere.

I see Dr Yancy regularly for myasthenia gravis.
I have been seeing Dr. Yancy for several months. He has a wonderful personality and bedside manner.i highly recommend him to anyone looking for a neurologist.
Have received treatment from Dr. Justin Yancey earlier for another medical problem. I was well impressed of Dr Yancey's manner and professionalism.
Dr. Yancy, had great suggestions of what testing I would need and then he left it up to me which ones I could choose. He made me feel very comfortable during my appointment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
