Kamal Singh's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient here for a while and usually there's not too many issues but as of late I changed to ambetter sunshine health for my insurance and it has been a living nightmare trying to get my medications between the doctor's office the insurance company and my pharmacy I've been waiting over 5 months for medication that I need to physically walk and it's not a medication that's unusual it's very common .so I'm very displeased and I've called at least 10 to 12 times with few returned calls no real commitment to assist me in rectify this from their staff. This is a desperate need.I have lost my job because I am unable to walk without this .no one seems to care and see the process throught . I believe this is the 1st year that they have used this insurance company. I hope they cancel them next year or not use them because they are horrible and it is certainly not the type of patient care that I think this office is used to providing as far as health insurance and patient care. I finally got a approval from the appeal process from this insurance company 7 weeks ago and I cannot get the office to do what is necessary and work with the insurance company in order for the pre authorization to be admitted to my pharmacy and order for me to get the medication. Short story don't take Amber health as an insurance company it's a nightmare and to doctor Singh's office I'm hoping you guys are just depleted of staff because I don't believe that you in the past have been this negligent in care of your patients but this really is an issue of negligence in my opinion.

I have seen Dr.Singh for over 3 years now. He has helped with many of my health conditions. He genuinely seems to care.

Dr.Singh is the best MD I have seen in Gainesville. He helps with several health conditions I have and genuinely seems to care.

I only saw Dr. Singh because he was the only doctor at SIMED I could get into on short notice. He was thorough and seemed really concerned about my health problems, so I stayed with him for awhile. But the last time I saw him, he implied that if I would take mega doses of Vitamin D, drink a gallon of water a day, and go on the Mediterranean diet, all my problems would go away. I have lupus, so that isn't going to cure it. Also, he said he was going to try to get me into Mayo Clinic for a problem, and he didn't follow through. I lost faith in him, and decided to go for a more holistic approach. I asked to transfer to another Dr. at SIMED, and Dr. Singh said he would let me transfer, but wouldn't take me back, which showed he really didn't care at all. I'm glad I decided to switch now. I would not recommend him, because as nice as he seems, he will turn on you.

I have been seeing Dr. Sing for 3 years. Excellent all around. He listens to his patients and finds ways to resolve whatever issues one has. I highly recommend him for your primary care needs.

I have been a Simed patient for 4+ years. In that time my body has experienced 2 pregnancies, a miscarriage, thyroid issues, weight gain, and other minor issues. The whole office staff is worth 5 stars. Even living outside of Alachua Co it is worth the drive
