List of Larissa Lim's Reviews
I’m very picky about my doctors, so when I did research on Dr. Lim I was happy to become her patient! She is very personable, really knows her stuff and is easy to communicate with. She is always busy, but never rushes you through the exam. She gives good advice and others I’ve recommended her to are pleased with her care also. I just hope she lasts long enough to get me through old age.
After going thru the rounds at GFP, I decided it was time to find a new, dependable doctor for my family. We chose Dr Lim and wish we did it sooner! We have a great relationship and we trust her. That’s important. She will speak to you like an adult, and if you don’t want to know what is wrong with you, you have the wrong doctor!
Dr. Lim was a terrible doctor to my mother. We knew my mother had terminal cancer. When Dr. Lim was covering for my mother’s general practitioner in the hospital, she was disrespectful, not compassionate, unprofessional to me and my mother. She has no business dealing with patients like my mother who was told by her oncologist to go to the ER for labs and fluids. The ER admitted my mother because of fluid on the lung, pneumonia, and heart enzymes in her blood. My mother was trying to hold out for the results of a test that would tell her if she qualified for a next generation cancer treatment. The results took 2 weeks to come back. My mom almost made it, but towards the end 2 weeks of waiting, she had to be admitted to the hospital. That’s when Dr. Lim was absolutely atrocious to my mother and removed any hope of my mother living a little longer. I hope over a million people see this review. She is a dangerous dr for patients like my mother.
Unfortunately, I strongly advise avoiding SIMEDHealth, and specifically avoiding Larissa Lim’s primary care team. The standard of care I received from this team was the absolute worst I’ve experienced to date, across providers and medical complexes. While my one-on-one experiences with the doctor were not unpleasant, I often felt she was a bit short and brushed off some of my health concerns. The more serious issue was the incompetence and dismissive attitudes among the office staff, including the medical assistant Bri/Bree, who was aggressively rude to me on several occasions as I advocated for a basic level of care. The team communicated poorly both by phone and via online portal, making it feel impossible to get my concerns addressed in a timely and effective manner. I also feel that this staff grossly mishandled a situation regarding a prescription and necessary prior authorization, resulting in over ten hours of phone calls and four weeks of repeat messages to the doctor before

Overall, I urge you to look elsewhere for a care team. The staff were consistently rude and even blatantly disrespectful. For LGBTQ+ folks, I especially do not recommend this center or team, as I feel the team lacked considerate, inclusive care. I strongly recommend avoiding SIMEDHealth and Larissa Lim’s practice if you can.
Dr. Lim is a great doctor. I've been with her for years. She is a good communicator, diagnostician, and cares about her patients.
I absolutely love Dr. Lim! I have been a patient of hers for over 20yrs now and never once have I had an issue or problem with her. She is compassionate, understanding, and empathetic. She will listen to you and consider all of your concerns before coming up with a medical plan to help you. She also is willing to help you if you consider holistic medications and will advise when and when not to use them. I would highly recommend her the only drawback is she's so popular it's hard to get in to see her.
I LOVE DR. LIM I have been with her for several years now and I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a doctor that is willing to: (A) Listen to you: (B) Do what is necessary to help you improve; (c) She is empathetic, direct, & honest. She takes the time to explain things, helps you to understand what is wrong and what you can do to help yourself. I have several issues and she definitely has served as my PCM, always coordinating my care without hesitance. Her assistant Andrea is also the best. Can not say enough good things about her and her assistant.
Dr. Lim is analytical, personable, and very very bright. She has been our doctor for many years, and we have the highest respect for her. Richard and Pat Berne
She’s my primary. Love her! So glad I found her. She listens, has a great bedside manner, cares about her patients. As far as weight loss goes I’m seeing good results!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
