Dr Petty and his staff are quite wonderful to work with. My only problem is that is difficult to get in to see a doctor and you may have to wait several weeks while you're in pain.

Dr Petty is a friend and a colleague. He has always stepped up for my wife and me. I always refer patients to him and his partners.

Dr. Petty has done both of my knee replacement surgeries. I was happy to have him do them as l never had a problem with the first surgery and was able to do everything after the surgery that l had done before. He was always willing to take extra time to explain exactly what was going to happen before, during and after surgery and what to expect. His staff was helpful and knowledgeable if you had any questions that you may have forgotten to ask, they were able to answer them or said they could check and call you back. I have recommended Dr. Petty to several relatives and friends.

Dr. Petty and his staff run a very efficient practice, and still make me feel they have all the time I want with them.

Not very happy with my treatment. Dr. Petty's recommendation is that I should live with the pain in my knee even after therapy didn't help the problem. Apparently, he has the same problem and lives with it and expects his patient to as well. Will be seeking a second opinion as a doctor I had several years ago in another city gave me an injection behind my kneecap to relieve the kneecap rubbing on bone. For some unknown reason, Dr. Petty wouldn't do the same.

My husband and I have been patients of the Orthopaedic Institute for many years. There has never been anything but exceptional service and care. From the doctors, nurses and staff to the PT therapist staff everyone is professional and well trained. We would never consider going anywhere else for our ortho needs. Dr Petty recently did a complete knee replacement for me. He began preparing me months ahead by starting pre-surgery physical therapy. A week after surgery I am walking very well using my walker.
