I went to this doctor many years ago. I had to have my wisdom teeth pulled in my 20"s . It was a lot more issues with pain than anticipated. I had to have laughing gas but couldn't afford it then. He told me he wasn't a monster and he didn't charge me. He was very compassionate and helped me. I will forever be grateful to this doc. We were able to get my wisdom teeth without any issues. That was over 20 years ago.
I don't understand why anyone wouldn't give this place 5 stars. The girls in the office were amazing, and Dr.Slott did a great job. They were very careful about the COVID protocol, checking you in the parking lot before going inside, and once inside, were fairly quick about getting me into a room. The entire procedure was explained fully, including billing, and I was kept very comfortable throughout the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Slott and his team to anyone needing oral surgery.
Dr. Slott performed a cutting edge technique, for me ,involving implants which proved his expertise. The procedures involved multiple surgeries. I feel blessed to have chosen Dr. Slott as the surgeon for these procedures, which took many months to conclude. I am grateful for his expertise and skill, as well as his caring and gentle manner.
Dr. Hambrook removed my wisdom teeth. He's quick but careful. I have no nerve damage, sutures healed well, and everything has been smooth sailing. The office is excellent at keeping you sedated during the procedure if you choose iv sedation. Both my sister and I have had our wisdom teeth removed by this office and we both had good experiences.
In the past, the doctor really seemed to care if you were in pain or not. A year ago, I returned to this doctor regarding an implant he had previously done years before. The implant began to bleed upon cleaning, so the doctor related that he needed to lay the gum back so it could be cleaned. After the healing process was completed with the cleaning; a lot of the gum was missing from the implant and the metal could be seen from the implant. The tooth with a crown in front of the implant was also missing gum as well. When pointing this out to the doctor several times, he did send me to a gum specialist to have a gum tissue graft on the tooth with the crown in front of the implant. The specialist did not want to do anything to the gum around the implant. However, the implant was still without gum and metal was still showing. The gum stayed sore so he sent me back to the gum specialist who I went to before and he dismissed me and said no one could see it because the tooth was in the back. Because this would be a favor to the doctor, I do not think the specialist wanted to deal with it. To this day, the gum remains sore and I cannot eat on that side of my mouth. What once used to be a comfortable tooth to chew with and a nice appearing gum line is now gone and there is ugly metal showing and to fix it has been estimated at thousands of dollars. Sadly, I am left with this problem and will have to pay out of my own pocket to fix it or try to live with the pain. I e-mailed the doctor but never heard back from him.
BEWARE!!! In October 2017 My 11 yr old son needed 4 teeth extracted, 3 baby teeth that were not coming out on their own and 1 permanent molar that broke after a root canal. I should have ran for the door when during the consult the Dr. and his assistant were unclear of which teeth because the primary teeth are assigned letters rather than numbers but this was one of only very few oral surgeons my insurance accepted even though I still had to pay a substantial amount out pocket and had to pay cash for the anesthesia. During the appointment while in the waiting room I could hear what sounded like muffled screams, there were several patients that had been taken back so I was just praying it wasn't my son. When the procedure was completed I went back and my son looked like he had been sobbing and he was the muffled screams I heard. Apparently they have no problem charging you for anesthesia but don't use nearly enough to keep a CHILD comfortable during a painful procedure or this old man is just a sadist, you choose. My son has had many dental procedures, including other extractions and a root canal and has never been this traumatized, I am always told what a cooperative and wonderful patient he is. We were supposed to have a follow-up a week later and the doctor cancelled the day before, they said they would call to reschedule and never did. Fast forward to a few weeks ago I took my son for his regular cleaning and after the cleaning the hygienist came out and informed me that Dr. Slott had PULLED 2 OF THE WRONG TEETH, they had a copy of the referral in the file and the wrong teeth had been pulled. A few days later his pediatric dentist called and confirmed that Dr. Slott had pulled the wrong teeth and said that I could schedule with him to have the correct teeth pulled because those needed to come out asap because he was overdo to begin orthodontics and he would contact Dr. Slott. Dr. Slott's office has called me once to find out where I would be taking him to have the correct teeth pulled and from what I can gather they are paying for it but that does not excuse what they did. I have called this office requesting a refund and they deny they did anything wrong and refuse to refund the nearly $500 I paid out of pocket for the wrong procedure. Now I have to take more time off work and put my son through another procedure because of this doctors reckless behavior. Since his office refuses to make this right I will also be making complaints with the licensing boards, my insurance, and anyone else who will listen.
I am a retired dentist from South Florida. I recently saw Dr. Slott for the surgical removal of a fractured tooth which had strong and tortuous roots. I knew it would be quite a diifficult job. i have nothing but admiration for his skill in making a difficult job as easy as possible and for his staff as well. R.E.M.
good experience, friendly staff, expert Doctor.
Dr. Slott while I'm sure was good in his career. Needs to retire.
I absolutely love Dr. Slott and all the office staff. They have been very caring and considerate of my oral issue and keeping my pain level undercontrol during all of my procedures. I would recommend this office to all my friends and family. Thank you all very much.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
