Great dermatologist!

Dr. Skidmore has been my dermatologist for approximately 10 years. I recently was diagnosed with a condition which requires Mohs surgery. The confirmation was made by a pathologists report. I was out of town when I received the information , & hadn't planned on returning to the Gainesville area for 5 months or more. I contacted another dermatologist in my temporary location to set up an appointment. The new dermatologist requested my medical records. I called Dr. Skidmore's office to request my medical records. The told me I had to come in to sign a medical release form. I explained I was out of state, and requested they forward the form by email. The employees said they did not use email. I was shocked. I requested that Dr Skidmore call me. He, not anyone from his office has returned my call. My condition is extremely time sensitive. I find this utter disregard for a patients health to be a shocking dereliction of a Dr's sworn obligation.

I was seen before my appt time even arrived. Doctors & other personnel were friendly and answered all questions. Doctor was thorough and kept me comfortable throughout procedures.

Dr Skidmore does an amazing job! He was very comforting, even when delivering tough news of Melanoma. His team always gets me in promptly and the wait times are amazing. They treat me like their favorite patient every time.

I recently moved to the area and having prior skin cancer, I need to have annual skin checks so I made an appt with Dr Skidmore. Was very happy with the pleasant staff and comfortable with my exam. I saw a PA and then Dr Skidmore came in after. This week, I called because I have two areas of concern and they scheduled me for next week. Very happy with this practice.
