The technician, Jennifer, from the moment I walked in the door to when I left was by far the most patient, compassionate, detail oriented medical professional I've met.

ER and Surgery went excellent. However my aftercare leaves a ton to be desired.My 4 hour medication schedule was turned into a 5-6 hour "I'll get to you when I can get to you" attitude. "Sorry I was on the phone" "your order is 4 hours AS NEEDED" "you need to tell me you need it." "I'm only 20 minutes late." "I didn't get the message" "you need to talk to your doctor and have it changed to every 4 hours period"No one to help to the bathroom or anything else.I just had total foot reconstruction surgery, in pain and am giving attitude and lack of compassion.I understand there is a shortage and these people are worked to the limit but so have I.

I had hoped for a good experience but couldn't wait to be discharged after two nights. Waited a half hour plus a few times after pressing for help to use rest room and for meds. Food was awful mostly the selection and temperature of it. Did have "Tech's" (not sure why that name) that were awesome (twins DeShawn and KeShawn) and PT Caitlin was also terrific. Not sure if staff to patient ratio is low due to Covid. If this is normal staffing ratio - then they definitely need to hire more nurses. Hope it's better next time I have to be there.

Great staff

Staff all so kind and attentive. Surgeon Michael Jansen cheerful, gave patient report as soon as awake in cath lab, gave wife report immediately in recovery room; cheerful, clear layman's terms. And Dr. Janson himself went to find patient some food and delivered back to patient in recovery. Extraordinary compassion.

I was very very pleased with the care that I received by all the medical staff at North Florida Regional Hospital. Everyone from the E R service all the the way to the 3rd floor medical staff. The Doctors and nurses were all very nice polite and very caring and understanding to my satisfaction and I have been there before when I needed medical care and I will be going back in the future. In fact all of my Family have been cared here at this Hospital. Dr. Elder and Dr. Thomas were my main two doctors who treated me while I was very. Both are highly professionally trained and they took time to listen to me as a patient and I certainly appreciate everything they done for me while I was there. I highly recommend this Hospital for anyone who is in the need of care.

Had outpatient surgery and the complete staff were very friendly and qualified. It took extra time to get into the surgery room but am so grateful to have the procedure behind me. The recovery nurses were excellent. My surgery was complicated with unexpected variables. So I get why the backup...my surgery probably exceeded the estimated time backing it up for those behind me.

Called and spoke to er department about my concern was talking for a bit because I'm in fear of my life I can't walk much this can be fixed I need help inpatient I cannot care for myself I explained everything and she ended up getting an attitude I went to pelvic floor rehab and said they recommended goin back to er or. Urgent care because of where the pain is it's horribly bad I'm basically bed bound because of my medical condition pain in the eurethra and elevated psa had some surgery in right inguinal I'm feeling right there I know something is wrong I need urgent medical help

The nurses are outstanding; caring, attentive and always cheery. My nurse anesthetist was phenomenal.
