I am so thankful to the team at SSH Gainesville for the care they provided to my uncle (the patient) and my family during a very difficult time. The team was compassionate and caring. They made sure my aunt was given information on my uncle's condition in a timely manner. The care the team rendered to my uncle during his stay assured his dignity and comfort at all times. The leadership team went above and beyond to make sure both my uncle and my family were cared for like family. I highly recommend SSH Gainesville! Thank you for all you do everyday to care for your patients and their families!
The staff are friendly and helpful especially Tamara
More than excellent
The therapists at select specialty are incredible. I never thought I would walk again, and now I’m walking in the hall. They push me everyday, appropriately, and without them, I never would have made it to this level. The nurses are also amazing, especially Susie. She takes great care of me, and makes sure all my needs are met. I would recommend this facility to my friends and family, the care is excellent.
My experience at select has been very good. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they push me each day to make progress. I’m more comfortable out of bed in a chair, and they accommodate me everyday to make sure I stay comfortable. I have enjoyed the rehab staff very much, they are skilled and personable.
My stay at Select Medical Hospital was a stellar experience. With an arrival just before the evening shift of June 24th starting at 1900 hrs (7 PM) and a tentative departure was July 3rd due to the physical therapy (hospital paperwork, approval, etc.) that was needed to accomodate a sure and safe return to home and extended care there for the duration of my recovery. The RN's (registered nurse's) and CNA's (Certified Nurse's Assistant) [respectively] are the following that deserve KUDOS!!!!!!Friday (26th June) evening shift Alex and FeliciaSaturday (27th June) day shift Tiffany and RuthSaturday (27th June) night shift Alex and FeliciaSunday (28th June) day shift Tiffany and RuthSunday (28th June) night shift Alex and FeliciaMonday (29th June) day shift Mary and EliouseMonday (29th June) night shift Bridgette and TyTuesday (30th June) day shift Mary and EliouseTuesday (30th June) night shift Bridgette and TyWednesday (01 July) day shift GinaMarie and PreciousWednesday (01 July) night shift Bridgette and TyThursday (02 July) day shift GinaMarie and EliouseThursday (02 July) night shift Jenni and JoyceFriday (03 July) day shift Susan and EliouseI'd also like to give Shaquis (the CNA) from the first two nights June 24th and 25th for her assistance. Most certainly the case manager Amy. She navigated everything flawlessly. Also the following from PT/OT (Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy)Ian – OTANikki – OTLara – PTLena – PTAIt is because of the people listed above individually and collectively that I was able to quickly regain my balance and strength to move forward for my recovery. They are each pushy in a good and productive way to move a paient forward in their rehabilitation and recovery. Also the people from EVS (Environmental Services) that keep the rooms clean and sanitary. Suzie Lynn and Regina to name a few.And just as importantly is Ashley the dietician that kept an open dialogue to make sure that I was getting the proper nutrients in my body on a dailly basis. All of the above staff work towards the care and rehabilitation of a patient individually and collectively!!!!!!Let me start this paragraph with the fact that I have been a patient advocate for 10+ years [no this is not a commercial and it's true]. It is a completely different first hand take and perspective on the other end after helping, assisting, and advocating for those in need due to their disability, disease, and/or medical complexity. But many choose not to speak up out of fear, concern of retialiation, or complacency. You may say that I forgot the 24th and 25th, those dates are ommitted for good reason. My experience upon admissions on the 24th to the speaking up on the 25th went from yellow to screaming RED. Yet I will not allow the ineptness nor lack of detail or concern for care by a few to Sully the many that are very compassionate about their work and the patients they treat and literally care for on a daily basis. The point is this: “While under the care of an RN or CNA that you feel [gut instincts are here in our body for great reason] that you are mistreated and/or not receiving the proper care Speak UP!” It is not only your right, it's your responsibility. Injustice is just that and if you don't speak up and are complacent, then you're a part of the problem by your silence. There are patient advocates or even a staff chaplain available at every hospital and they are there for this reason and many more.“As an advocate it has been found that the moral complacency of the many is the downfall the massive issues of injustices within our society.”By speaking up you can start a positive effect for you and other patients in the future.
Excellent service, staff, and thorough care.
Good staff. Knowledgeable. Attentive to my needs. Very courteous. Rehab was good but wish rehab had more equipment like a stationary bike. Thanks for helping me out!
The facility gave excellent service especially the Rehab department and respiratory therapists! Would recommend this facility to anyone.
My sister and I could not be more great full for the kind and attentive care given to our father as he heals from major surgery. Nurse Tiffany is a sweetheart and takes such good care of him. “Reds” is also wonderful and very friendly. The respiratory therapist, Daryl, is skilled and makes sure to keep all of us informed so we know what’s going on.Thank you for putting all of our minds a little more at ease.Kelly

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
