Dr. Deturris saved my husband's life with an emergency bowel perforation surgery. He is very blunt and quick on conversation, but gets the job done. The staff he operated with are very courteous and all communicate well with scheduling appointments or getting back to you if you have concerns. Very grateful for Dr. Deturris and his staff.

I had the unexpected pleasure to have received stellar care with Dr De Turris and his staff. I did not feel as if my presence was being rushed or that there was a time restraint imposed upon staff to complete my consultation, to fulfill a prescribed formula for optimum production . Further any questions were answered with clarity and in terms a lay person could understand,with graphics to illustrate simply what ,and anatomically where, this problem existed. A conservative approach was also exercised concerning surgical recommendations.The total experience alone was healing. Respectfully, John Then

Dr. Deturris is very kind, caring and thorough. He really listens and looks at your chart before visits.

He did not listen to what I had to say! I laid in the hospital for 10 days without eating and lost 30 pounds. He finally listened to my son, and did another surgery to correct the problem. After my release from the hospital, he took the drain tube out too early, and I developed an infection.
