For the betterment of this establishment I’d like to write my honest review. Feb. 8, 2020 I came to this facility to be examined and treated. Did not have an appointment (I understand that) but I did call to ask for a wait time (roughly) they confirmed that it would be under an hour (and I quote: “yes under that”). I ended up staying there close to 3.5 hours... (Of which I had no problem with), but as time passed (after an hour or so) I asked to get the price based on my insurance and was informed that they had not been able to get to my paperwork (There were literally 4-5 people ahead of me) and I was ok with that but asked if they can inform me the sooner the better. Nope. They informed me of my price as it was my turn to be seen (by which time I said it’s best to stay since I’ve already been there a while). Unfortunately the price was higher than other urgent care(s) (of which I understand each company has their own pricing). But the price was more than I could afford and wished they would have just been upfront about two things. 1) The actual wait time and not an empty promise. 2) The pricing. If there were too many people, they should mention that the pricing can not be given until right before check out. This would help people make any decision that best suits them. 3) I’m sure these are nice people, on this day however they needed clarity and help.
Nope
I visited while having foot pain, and was diagnosed almost immediately has having two blocked arteries in my legs. I had major surgery within one month, and was told that Dr. Yucht at minimum, saved my legs from amputation, and at most; my life.
Dr. Yucht provided excellent advice, bedside manner, ability to perform minor inpatient surgery, and follow-up care. He owns two practices in Gainesville and must be doing something right. He did by us.
I need to give a shout out and HUGE thank you to Dr. Yucht and Emergency Physicians Medical Center in Tower 24! My upper respiratory infection had morphed into acute bronchitis and after a breathing treatment and steroid shot in the arm, Now I'm following up with oral steroids and an inhaler... I can honestly say I'm finally feeling better in only one day after 10-14 days of misery that just got worse, even after seeing a doctor a week ago!!! And the entire staff is WONDERFUL! Thank you yet again Emergency Physicians!
I saw this doctor at urgent care center nearly two months ago with moderate to severe abdominal and pelvic pain. Explained that pelvic pain may be due to ovarian cysts and the abdominal pain was worse. He did a pelvic exam and some cultures. Did not prescribe any imaging or antibiotics. Referred me to a gynocologist. Had to return for worsened abdominal pain a week later, pay again, and got antibiotics from different doctor which solved the abdominal pain (was thought to be an intestinal infection). Fast forward to yesterday - I go to the gyn, and he has the info from my urgent care visit. Turns out I had a common bacterial infection that they never told me about. Had I not come back the next week and gotten the antibiotics, I have to wonder if it would have gone untreated until yesterday. Had he simply treated me as the second doc did, I could've been saved a lot of time, pain, and an extra $50 copay. Also, no offer of pain relief. Second doc offered this.
Wonderful doctor and great staff. He did a great job treating me. I too have Blue Cross so it cost a little more but it was worth it to be stitched back up from a severe cut in less than 1 hour. When I had questions a day or two later when I called he answered all my questions and offered to see me again for to reassure me. I would go back again in a minute
this may be a good doctor, but the prices are too great for me. a cash patient gets a discount of 40% but that leaves the final bill at $250. Can't imagine paying ER prices for a walkin clinic. I suggest people call around for pricing unless this is not an issue. most of us are looking for quality care, but lower costs. this is not a blue cross provider so our insurance would be worthless here.
Great doc and answered all my questions in a way I could understand.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
