My mom has been living in the Windsor for over 19 months. The staff helped her (and our family) transition from assisted living to memory care. For those of you currently helping an aging parent or relative, you understand how difficult it can be to manage the emotional, medical and care issues during this time of our lives. We couldn’t have managed it without the care and assistance from the staff at the Windsor. They treat mom like family and we trust that she is taken care of when we can’t be there. It is comforting to know mom is in a safe place with people who love her.The daily activities planned for the residents are engaging and beneficial to their physical and mental health. The cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms is outstanding. They provide nursing, PT and PT services onsite, as well as, hair and nail care and podiatry.We researched many assisted living places before choosing the Windsor. We considered the choice to be one of the most important of her life. We would make the same choice again.

This place does not even deserve one star, save for the sweet nurses, kitchen and maintainence staff, the management is horrific and the salesperson lies to sell the place then they forget what they promised you. This center is run horribly. Nurses double as the wait staff in the dining room, maintainence man fills in for center director. The latest center director has been fired for getting arrested. No one is ever available to trouble shoot or for any type of help with medications, etc. Everything is overpromised and they do not deliver. Please be aware that this center has very little in the way of entertainment, no dances, very little music, very little life in this place. It is a very sad place and the residents are unengaged most of the time. You are greeted by many residents asleep in wheel chairs or the chairs in the foyer. The food is a zero, and portions are very tiny. It also sometimes takes 2 hours to get served and eat, the place is constantly shorthanded and the poor decent people who work there are worked to death. Sometimes the employees have to do 2 or 3 different jobs on each shift because the turnover is staggering. Please remove the fake review of the former center director's wife, Jill Cronkrite, very underhanded to not only have her post a "fake review" but then answer it glowingly.

I am very happy to know that my father-in-law is living in a safe, clean, beautiful, and caring environment. Every time we talk on the phone, he tells us how much he likes living there. He loves the food, and has great things to say about all the people who work there! We feel so blessed. It is especially important now with the awful Covid 19 virus everywhere. We live thousands of miles away, and we feel at peace knowing that he will be taken care of there. The Windsor of Gainesville is a wonderful place to live!!!

I was in need of a dress for a special occasion.  As soon as I walked in the store, Bambi greeted me and asked me if I needed help.  I found the perfect dress thanks to her.  She pointed me to a dress that was not only on sale but fabulous.  Bambi has great customer service.
