Dr. Murphy is a very experienced and--this is rare--empathetic doctor. A Doc with a heart and the ability to make life with a chronic disease a little better. Highly recommended.

This doctor refused to read info from my previous Doctor, could not keep up with what she had tried and recommended, because she will not do the work, she will not read, she is lazy. If she causes you to be without pain medications that's your problem.

I agree with the other comment. This Dr. doesn't care, is dismissive to her patients, doesn't return phone calls, pharmacy requests or anything that would give her the definition of caring in the least!! Unfortunately, since pain patients are the dregs of society, there is nothing that can be done. Her first appt. is at 1:00PM, yet you see her come in between 1:20-1:30 every time. If you don't have one of those first appts, you are left waiting I have waited over three hours. She is dismissive to needs, and hope you don't have an emergency, because she in non-responsive. I could say much more, but for fear of my identity being revealed, I cannot.

I have been going to see this doctor for 2 years, it's very hard to find a doctor that will help you do to the stigma that goes along with my medical condition and the medications I have to be on. but I do believe that this doctor does not give the full 100 percent medical attention that she could do to her own personal beliefs and opinions so therefore the patients suffer. furthermore I think its absolutely ridiculous that if I have an appointment at a certain time I still have to wait an hour and a half to two hours before I am even called back. I would definitely not recommend this doctor but due to my situation I am stuck.

I've seen Dr. Murphy in Chiefland. Fantastic. But with this Nurse in Gainesville, I'll be going back to Chiefland, and that's I shame. Horrid personable skills. Talks to you like you are a drug addict and asks questions on why I came to Gainesville instead of staying with Chiefland office. They are both same distance for me, so it's none of her business. The reason made perfect sense, & I had a good rapport with Dr. Murphy while Dr. Lipnick still does injections and all my other Dr.'s are there. I felt " grilled " !
