William Jacobs's Online Review Report Card

Had to see Dr. Jacobs several times for reoccurring cellulitis. I was treated with concern, kindness, and effective medical treatment. We have returned several times for less urgent conditions, and are always treated in a thoroughly professional, yet kind and familiar manner. The entire office has a casual atmosphere, which sets you at ease, when you arrive in a state of worry. Green Cove Springs is lucky to have this urgent care doc, and he is much loved and respected.

I had a wonderful experience with Magnolia Urgent Care, when I was treated by Dr. Jacobs. He and the entire office staff were very friendly and took the time to understand my needs the day of my appt. I had tried to get treated at CareSpot in Fleming Island but was told by the reception desk worker that they couldn't/wouldn't drain the infection in my thumb. I was told that the attending physician could only prescribe antibiotics, as needed. CareSpot also would have charged me $199 even just to be seen. Magnolia Urgent Care not only saw me for a much more reasonable fee, but Dr. Jacobs also injected my thumb with an anesthetic, drained the infected area as well as he could, bandaged me up, and prescribed me strong antibiotics without any extra charge. Now I'm feeling great and the infection is almost 100% gone. I'll go back for any other urgent care needs that I have.

My sister has Dr. Jacobs and they he doesn't have a after hour answering service. also they won't call your prescriptions in for you even though you live alone and have no one to help you. You have to take it to the pharmacy yourself, which is hard when you are very sick and alone.

We use Dr. Jacobs as our Primary Care doctor. He is through and takes time to answer questions. His staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him.

I sprained an ankle and went to Dr. Jacobs for help. His bedside manner is terrible. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. He didn't even prescribe crutches. I accidentally sprained my other ankle five days later, and went back with both ankles sprained. At that point, I honestly felt like needed a wheelchair. Dr. Jacobs was actually angry with me and found it impossible to believe that anybody could sprain two ankles. He still didn't prescribe crutches. I could barely walk. I switched doctors after that incident. This was not my first or second time I was dissatisfied.

I came in with a reading on the drug store blood pressure monitor of hypertension, I had spells of weakness and nearly passing out. I had no insurance at the time and I just showed up and asked for help. They were happy to see me even though I told them I didn’t have but 100.00 dollars. And they diagnosed me with hypertension/ high blood pressure and prescribed me some Med and discussed what I needed to do to get better. I it had been a long time since I felt so good!. Since then now over 16 years I have had various things that has always been solved at there office. From back issues to bad cold and flu. Sprained ankle. I am very happy with doc Jacobs and hope he stays with me as long as I’m alive. M.Barber

Cut my finger 7 stitches. Dr. Jacobs was personable, professional, precise and expedited service. No complaints. Staff was professional & precise. This was much better than waiting in the ER. In out 1 hr. Thanks Doc!

Dr Jacobs has been my doctor since he opened his practice over 20 years ago. He treats every member of our family. His Family and Staff have always made sure we are all treated like we are their only patient.

Failed to recognize that I was in an acute state of anxiety and depression. Let symptoms exacerbate for several weeks before my husband finally found the right dr. for me. I feel a lot of pain and suffering could have been avoided if he was more on point . Prescribed an antidepressant without giving any info. or doing more investigation. Not very responsible doctoring... never followed up
