Lake Worth Psychiatry's Online Review Report Card

I started coming here back in June. This was the first time seeing anyone therapist or psychologist and I had an instant Comfortability felt like I was in a safe place to truly speak freely. The staff was very friendly and kind.

My experience with this psychiatric group has not been the greatest, however, Michelle E. is an office staff member in Lake Worth and Delray and she is the ONLY employee that I have had contact with, who has been so kind, helpful, willing to actually listen to me as a patient, which, even some of the actual doctors don't even do. She has been the BEST person I have worked with in the entire practice and she deserves ALL the recognition in the world. Thank you Michelle, for just being who you are! Please Note: Michelle E. gets my ranking of 5 stars, not the practice!

Im upset I even have to put one star. I urgently needed a new psychiatrist to refill very important medication, and in order to get the appointment set up they needed me to fill out tons of paperwork online. Ok, that's fine..so I do that. Now I am having to send all my cards and personal information to several different phone numbers (which they seem to not know how to get in contact with each other to bring it all together- but somehow this is what I was told to do?). I spend an entire day and a half going back and forth on the phone setting this up, knowing I need the soonest appointment and my refill is getting extremely close (my own fault on that part, but I was moving and it got difficult). They then tell me I owe a fee to make an appointment for some sort of "membership" I am not asking for. It's $60 to set this appointment up- after ALL of that work. I had a LIST of psychiatrists I could have been working with in this limited time, and instead they wasted mine with pointless fees that I wouldn't have to deal with anywhere else? I ask them WHY would you not mention this information from the start? They claim an email was sent, so I look at my email and that was entirely incorrect. No email was sent. I had their others I had responded too, though. You guys wasted my time, and I now have two days worth of my prescription left. You wasted my time, you're adding fees that are beyond disrespectful considering how much Americans have to pay for healthcare, hospital bills, and any type of care in general. In other countries we do NOT have to go bankrupt to see a doctor. Outrageous. Literally I am so furious they withheld information, collected all of my personal information, lied about the email, and wasted so much time. It's not even about the amount of the fee. It's about how that is completely unnecessary, irregular, and then not informing me until AFTER the fact. Avoid this type of place, they clearly care about money more than patients actual well-being.

Amazing practice. Dr. Phelps and his caring, compassionate team have helped me through several difficult times, and I would recommend them to anyone seeking mental health or specialty sleep care. They are also very good at getting care covered by my commercial PPO. Highly recommend in either Lake Worth or Delray, or virtual.

I’ve been working with Ms Lauren and Dr Phelps for going on 4 years and they have been nothing but helpful loving and understanding. I went through TMS with Dr Phelps and it has made a great difference in my mental health

New psychiatric facility in LW. We are happy to have them here where there was no other psychiatry office nearby. The staff and doctors are wonderful. If you are looking for a psychiatrist or a therapist, call this office.

This practice and the therapist and psychiatrist are truly wonderful. Especially Jodie she is very knowledgeable and helpful and truly understanding. She truly cares about your wellbeing. It is a great place.

First and foremost, Dr. Phelps is the most fantastic human being and the best psychiatrist I have found in 45 years: professional but kind and a Doctor who truly cares for the well-being of the patients. As his third office opened in Lake Worth, I had the privilege to meet Jodie, an extraordinary counselor. Jodie is Truly Amazing and Honest with me; witches are the most important thing to me. Trust is not more straightforward, and I do appreciate being with both of them, helping to guide me to a better life on this earth 🧘‍♀️

I’m so glad the Lakeworth office has officially opened the commute is great, the office is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and professional. The Doctor’s and Therapist are very respectful and caring they take their time and really listen’s to all of their patients .
