Love love love the staff and dr!!!!

Considering that this doctor called me screaming at me after I explained in a message that my grandmother had just passed away, I am appalled by his inability of conducting himself in a professional manner in a high pressure situation. Clearly not someone I want responsible for the most important of all matters, my children's health. We were big fans of this practice, understanding that part of a small practice is that we have to wait for call backs, etc. However, when our child who has eczema was sent home from camp today because he appeared to be developing a minor rash, I called and left a message explaining our situation...that our child (who is only 2) really needed to be in daycare as our family processes this tragic time and he just needed a doctor's note to confirm that he could go back to camp. I asked him if we could be seen ASAP and they returned our phone call stating that he would not be seen for another approximately 5 hours because they refused to see a "sick" patient at the same time as well patients. I called back frustrated, not understanding why my child, who has no other symptoms besides a slight rash, couldn't be seen if they are sanitizing each room after every patient, which should be standard practice. The doctor called me back with his voice raised to an uncomfortable level, saying how dare I claim that my children were more important than everyone else's. When I tried to tell him no, that was not what I was saying, he yelled back "I'M NOT DONE YET" and proceeded to go on lecturing and yelling until I finally interrupted him to say that how he handled this situation was completely inappropriate and that he would not be dealing with my children anymore. If you want a doctor with any type of compassion and understanding if you are concerned or frustrated or confused, this is not the doctor for you.

Dr. Edelstein is a very nice doctor. You can tell he actually loves what he does for a living.

MY son has been a patient for over 13 years. Dr Edelstein is a great doctor and has an awesome staff. He would never give your child medicine they really don't need. I always take his advice when it comes to my son Jose Jr. Can't say enough good things about him. Thank for always being there for my family.

The doctor and staff were wonderful! They spent a lot of time with us and we didn’t feel rushed.

No parent enjoys seen their children sick and been part of Dr. Edelstein patient’s family is a pace of mind. Thank you Doctor E. You are the best! Thank you Melissa.

Dr.Ed has been my girls doctor since birth. I’m always So impressed with his staff. They return calls fast & always listen to any concerns. Dr. Ed was born to be a pedestrian. He is silly with the kids putting them at ease. He does a great job at helping parents get to the bottom of any illness or underlying conditions. I can’t imagine not having him & his reliable team on our side as my girls grow up.

Kind, down to earth and does not over prescribe. I like how he shares his concerns or the reasons why he is taking a course of treatment over others. I have been blessed with a healthy child, few visits a year but none the less, when I have had the need, him and his staff are welcoming and helpful. Wish they had more hours of operations but not changing doctors over that.

Every time we go to dr E we are always treated with kindness dr E has been my kids pediatrician since they were born

Dr Ed is the best! Our son has been with him 16yrs, since he was 2 days out of NICU born 8wks prem.- has had various medical issues over the yrs and Dr Ed has been so on top of everything consistently over the years. He always cracks us up w his humor but at the same time is a great listener and diagnostician- he really cares which is evident with the amount of time and effort he puts forth. I’ve referred quite a few people and our family is blessed to have our son be under Dr Ed’s care. Great staff too!
