List of Marc F D Abellard's Reviews
Doctor David Abelard has been part of the opioid crisis, handing out painkillers to drug addicts starting in the 90s. It was very lucrative for him as well as the side benefits with certain females who will "do anything to get the drug" as he said. I knew some of these drug addicts, one was a family member and another was a neighbor, both started with Abelard in their late teens. Abelard made money by turning his office into a revolving door for people who pay an office visit just to get their opioids, Valium, etc. Physicians can fit a lot more patients in when their patients aren't there for any legitimate reason. The government allowed this Wild West of false medical practice to go on for decades. Opioid abuse lead to the use of other drugs when these patients couldn't get their prescriptions filled any longer. This is what happens when young people are allowed to access narcotics they had no business accessing. I'm sure many of these people died young like my family member and our neighbor who died from organ failure from consuming so many pills. Of course this kind of behavior makes doctors rich without having to practice medicine. It's the opposite of the their Hippocratic Oath of "do no harm." In this case we have a man (Dr. David Abelard) who came from Haiti and who had nothing to speak of, he ended up in the United States. Suddenly he had an easy opportunity to make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in the 90s and 2000s. When you come from a country that the average person makes a few hundred dollars per year and suddenly you realize the biggest business boom you have going for you is simply to prescribe opioids, well the temptation is too great. I do not have the date of when Abelard ceased handing out narcotics like candy. My family member is dead now so I can't ask for the details. I did get blow by blow details of what went on in that office and all the women my family member knew who were trading sexual favors for opioids. Patients would also trade pills with each outside the office. Sitting in the waiting room they all became friends and exchanged telephone numbers, further increasing their drug access networks right in the waiting room. Way to go Dr. Abelard. I should have posted this review a long time ago. These bad doctors need to be called out for their criminal practices.
Doctoc Abelard is the best! full with knowledge most of all he considered your well-being before money he is a great Doctor I should recommend to everyone
This practice includes other providers who attend to patients, they seem to not care about patients, it’s all about the money. When I requested for referrals to specialists for my parents, they want to manage everything. They want to be: cardiologist, endocrinologist, nephrologist and podiatrist. I feel that I let my parents down for not removing them from that practice long before. My parents have been going to that practice for nearly 20 years, when Dad suddenly passed away, Dr Abellard didn’t seem to care and didn’t care to offer condolences to my mother, let alone the family. I feel that patients are only treated like a number. No sympathy!
Dr. Abellard is exceptional. We drive 2 hours to see him because he is the best. He is very knowledgeable and gives an accurate diagnosis the first time. Most importantly, he loves people more than money. He is a decent, caring human being.
My name is James Campbell, I am a patient of Dr Abbellard. Ive never in my previous 47 yrs experienced a Dr that cares as much as this man does. Hes top notch in every area as ve had some bad experiences with other physicians. Dr Abbellard is the best. He even gave me his home number

Dr. Abellard help me to get rid of my migraine headhaches in just one vist ! I had an appointment and I was talking to the doctor in just 10 minutes, Thanks
I realize this is all my fault for not looking up reviews before selecting a doctor as a primary for my insurance sign up. I come from a PPO plan were that is not required. Regardless. 1 call on a Friday asking to see a DR asap because i was have some serious issues. Receptionist tells me they don't have appt for 2 weeks because I'm a new patient but that I can be a walk-in before 2pm (its 11am) I said ok then I can see a doctor today - she giggles and says oh no you won't it too late. I tell her I have a serious issue and need to see a doctor and will likely need a referral, can she just give me the name of specialist then, to which she replies, sure but they won't see you without the referral anyway. - I admit this made an already upset sick person more upset and irate - told her Thanks I'll just go and die now. Fast forward to Tuesday - I did go to ER and was admitted and required surgery and had additional issues. Luckily all are under control. But now I need to call this office again to get the appointment for the followups and another surgery. Receptionist was quick to give me an appointment at 130pm but then when I gave her my name said oh no you've never been here you'll have to be a walk-in. I asked her how long the wait would be she says "VERY LONG" PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE They are the example of a society full of unprofessional careless people working in the medical field that rips us off.
called in extremely bad customer service!! not going here

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
