Greg Hawkesworth's Online Review Report Card

I have seen friends and relative who are patients of Dr. Hawkesworth and he is very reputable, sincere, caring, gentle, understanding and even concerned with a large cyst on my male relative's head which other doctors had ignored. He removed the cyst which was causing questions from coworkers and friends including our minister at the church. My husband is still extremely pleased with the humanity of this doctor to be concerned with an older man who works outdoors for years in all types of weather with a growing cyst. People in stores were staring at the patients before the cyst was removed. This patient will be forever grateful he told me, his wife for the doctor's kindness that was not even his medical field. He has moved on from Fairplay to another partnership practice in Anderson, SC now.

He was condescending , sarcastic and unprofessional. I have a torn miniscus and he was having me wait for 4 weeks to see an orthopedist even though I told him I had not been able to sleep because of the severe pain When I told the orthopedic office they asked me why he did not send me for an mri? After telling his staff what the other office said he made an appointment for me. It caused another 3 day delay. I have no confidence in his ability to give me care.

I love dr. Hawkesworth and he is straight forward and tells u the way it is.

I went to doctor Hawksworth for me and my kids. He's a caring doctor,he listens well but when I had an accident at work it went sour.I kept bleeding,he got me another doc for that,after surgery I had several different things that went wrong. First my toes curled in. Second I could catch my breath. Doctor told me to lose weight and just uncurl your toes. I changed doctors after a rude nurse and after I couldn't get release from blood clot in lung/ heart found out later. Now to find out I have char Marie tooth disease in my feet which all of these things caused from that surgery.

Dr. Hawkesworth is brash; seemed much more interested in entering data into his Ipad than actually listening to my concerns. His associate pointed out an error he made. I paid $140 and walked out with a receipt and recommendations to quit smoking and reduce my alcohol intake. He told me to return in two weeks to address the foot fungus, which was my original concern. Glad they were accepting new patients last year; very disappointed in the results. Don't believe I'll return to see him.
