List of Colby Maher's Reviews
Orders tests but then does not look at the results. He seems pleasant until you ask for more information, then he switches to almighty doctor mode.
Poor. We gave Dr. Kellen lots of chances but we never got the care we needed. He thinks giving a steroid shot to everyone who walks in his office is good medicine, even before he sees the patient. Try to get a referral ... he doesn't think the patient deserves to see a more qualified professional. Finally got my OB-GYN to refer my husband to an ENT, which was quite a story. (Who referred you, again?) The office manager raised her voice at my husband when our bill was past due, even though he was in the office earlier that week asking if we owed anything. They people at the window said all accounts were current. Her response was, why didn't you ask for me?? We found a great practitioner in a well run practice, so yes, they do exist.
He was very sarcastic and actually raised his voice saying, “1 don’t have a crystal ball “. When asked what the blood test would reveal, He says what ever I order. Very rude in my opinion. Just a very poor bedside manor.
I have used Dr David Kellen as my primary doctor for about five years. During this time I had a major heart surgery at age 58. He helped me manage the process which went remarkably smooth. I prefer his scientific approach to everything because it gives me reassurance of where I stand and what I need to do .
Mr. Kellen is not What I would call a Doctor. He has know Idea of what he is doing and could careless about you the Patient. He Lied on my father's Certification of death tho the Bureau of Vital Statistics. My father smoked and because of that, he decided that lung cancer was the cause of death. Even though a brain tumor took him from us. Do not Trust this man. A witch Doctor would be a better choice.!!
Briefly went to dr Kellen when I first moved to Gulf Breeze. He was arrogant , sarcastic and made you feel like an idiot. Absolutely no compassion, doesn't explain anything. I love the Live Oak practice and all the others providers, he is a condescending person.
He is not very helpful, and doesn't have much of a bedside manner. He seems to just want to get you out and on to the next patient.
He listens to our concerns and values our opinions. Treats us with the respect we deserve as patients. Shares his opinions, but allows us to make the final decision. Always available and knowledgeable. We trust him. We believe we receive the best care with Dr Kellen.
Dr. Kellen does not listen to the patient, only concerned with his own opinion. Revenue appears to be his primary focus, patient well being somewhere after that. There is a reason that he is easy to get an appointment with.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
