I was attempting to set up an appointment as a new patient but the receptionist was more than rude. Laughed at me when I said the appointment was a long ways off. Would not recommend even calling. Got the run around with bad phone number for 15 mins before getting the rude lady on the phone.

Dr. Richards is the best, most thorough Dr. I’ve ever had. He cares about my total health. If I need a referral, he is on top of it. He listens, and documents everything I tell him so that he can give me the best care possible. His staff is great, and his nurse is responsive, knowledgeable and a delight.

Dr. Richards took such good care of my mom for the last 8 years until she recently passed away from Alzheimer's. She loved him and called him her boyfriend. We were so happy to find out when it was time for Hospice care that he would be her Hospice doctor. It was comforting to know he was also a big part of Emerald Coast Hospice. Those people are Angels on Earth!

This doctor is the coldest doctor I have ever met. He doesn't give you eye contact just walks into the exam room and starts typing. You speak to him but you know he's not listening. No bedside manner just DEAD SIDE manner. I don't think he likes people, never smiles or has a kind word for you, he should have choose another profession like maybe a mortician?

I've been a patient of Dr Richards for about 3 years now. He and his staff are always friendly, warm and straightforward. His integrity and ethics are above reproach. I can honestly say I trust him without reservation. His mannerism, personality and patient rapport is always without fail comforting and reassuring. His nurse is engaging, funny and always returns my call in a timely manner. The office staff is always on their "A" game. The referral coordinators is totally the best. I've had many referrals and never, not once had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for the referral process to be completed. if you want a doctor that will always tell you what you want to hear then I recommend you play Dr Google and treat yourself the best you can, however, if you want a true family practitioner that listens to his patients and always has their wellbeing and best interests at heart then I can guarantee you will not find a better family practice anywhere.

Doesn’t take women seriously about things affecting their body. Brushes things off and says it’s “all in your head” even though you’re experiencing real pain. Go to someone else. This guys a crock and a phony and just wants your money. Refuses to actually help people.

Would not recommend. Dr. Richards' office manager phoned the evening before my new patient appointment to cancel. Dr. Richards will not see me because I was 'discharged' by another doctor. My previous doctor is also part of Baptist.
