Above all, I believe that Dr. Abbey is an educator. During my visits, Dr Abbey uses science, technology, and visual aids to educate and support me. Thanks to her, for the first time in over 50 years, I am beginning to understand that my desired goal is to be healthy and my journey will be lifelong. Her focus is personalized on the the whole me: my mind, body, spirit, emotional and physical health, and not just +/- numbers on a scale. I am now becoming more supportive of myself now (not some imaginary future self) and learning that self awareness, self love, forgiveness, patience and persistence are my strongest allies. If your need is a healthcare professional that is knowledgeable and effective in the physiology and psychology of overeating, weight loss, and maintenance and your relationship to them; you won’t be disappointed with Dr. Abbey.

Everyone here is amazing, helpful and willing to do whatever they can for you. I highly recommend Suncoast Bariatric.

When I first wanted to get this surgery, I was recommended to Dr Kevin huguet. The manager in his office told me I could not see him because I owed a bill that was passed the statute of limitations. That office did not correctly bill the right insurance. So I ended up in the emergency room one day and a doctor recommended Dr Tiffany jessee. I met with her office staff and was very impressed. The doctor did an awesome job but my follow-up visits are better Everytime I see doctor Abby she has compassion. Sometimes she gets upset if you are not quite following things the way you are but that's only because she truly cares about her patients. My issue was I had not quit smoking yet. Since my surgery in August I have not smoked. Thank you so much to Dr jessee, Dr Abby and their staff. They are always there when I need them and get me in as soon as I need to be seen. Compassion and listening skills are awesome also. Cannot thank you enough Dr Abby and Dr. Jesse. By the way I ended up sending Dr Kevin huguet a letter letting him know that I am only one patient that has office manager turned away for really no legitimate reason. How many others has his office turn away. I am only one of many that are very unhappy with the way I was treated so when I was refer to Dr jessee like I said I was very impressed and I'm so glad Dr Hugets office turned me away so that I could get better care and better assistance with Dr. Jesse and Dr. Abby.

Great and friendly staff . Dr Abby is wonderful and does individual weight loss counseling She structures a plan based on "you ". I've been going to her for about 3 weeks . So far almost 4 pounds lost. I have an appointment this week and am hoping for continued success.

I enjoy visiting with Dr. Abby. She is very thorough and sincerely cares about her patients. She is very upfront and doesn't tell you what you "want" to hear. She tells you what you need to hear and it really helps with accountability. I have been a patient of Suncoast Bariatrics for approximately 12 years. And I don't regret it!

The entire office is great. Both Dr. JESSIE AND DR Abby.,are wonderful. They each have their expertise. I saw Dr. Abby last visit. She is helping me on my weigh loss journey. She is very patient. She takes her time listening to her parents. I have never had a bad experience at that office. And i have been going for many years.

Beside manner 👎🏾 Compassion 👎🏾 Empathy 👎🏾 "Do you want to hear my spiel or get an adjustment?" 😳 Not everyone is the same, not everyone has the same results, and not everyone will get results the same way. I was placed in a category with "most people." Given the amount of health issues involved and life burdens I face, the only solution is to "attend group meetings, don't eat the cookies, and exercise more." I purposely filled out the form a certain way, of what I ate the day before, to see what response I would get. The only thing that stood out and was addressed was the cookie. Nothing in regards to the good choices I made. So yes, I feel horrible when I leave the office.

This was one of the best financial decisions I have made in my life for my health. For the last 7 years of my life, I have benefitted from this amazing medical team. I am healthier, I am happier, and I would recommend them 100%. Outstanding bedside manners, very professional and knowledgeable medical team. I am blessed to have found them, and my children got their mom back. If I could give 10 stars if I would. Best set of people.
