I tried to make an appointment; the office staff was unhelpful. I then spoke with the manager, Maria, who was also unhelpful and disrespectful . My experience with the doctor had been great in the past. Never had a situation like this before, I was told to find a diff doctor, which I will.
Great Doctor. Very thoughtful and advised me of the most economical way to get my prescription filled. I wasn't to crazy about the finger exam but if that's what is needed oh well.very nice man.wait time acceptable.
Never being to a Urologist before,Dr Pines, his office/his staff in Hallandale are all professionals made me feel, very comfortable, especially his assistant Dr Kitchen...the ladies in the office...Ally Lala,MsMarcia,KrishaDr Kitchen his assistant treated me with such kinds, and respect,I would give them all a big 10+rating...their all professionals...
I was very nervous for my appointment as I had been putting off going to the doctor for quite some time. Doctor Pines could tell I was nervous and took the extra time to put all of my fears at ease. He answered all of my questions and his staff was warm and friendly as well. He understood my medical issues quite well and helped set a plan of action that made me feel calm and ready for treatment. It was a 10/10 experience as far as physicians go and I couldn't recommend him enough!
I have known Dr. Pines for many years. He is a not only a great physician, but he really does care about you. I would always prefer someone who cares as opposed to someone who treats you like "just another appointment during the day". His concern shows and that is what makes him a wonderful human being.
The Nastiest Office Manager imaginable. I had an appointment scheduled with this session, and I wanted to send him copies of the previous related tests prior to my appt. This practice does not have a web site, internet access or an emaill. A young man who works there gave me his personal email address. I was very leery to communicate via email with someone I didn't know. For whatever reason he never received my numerous emails and I called the office and asked for the office manager-a woman named Marcie. I told her I had never heard of a legitimate business that didn't have email, her response in a caustic tone "was well now you have." She proceeded to reprimand me for trying to tell her how to run her business because of my comment. Then she went off the rail. She then went on to tell me "go find somewhere else, you need to go somewhere else you don't need to come here". It was unbelievable. I have never had such a nasty, rude customer service experience. The doctor and his other staff were very nice.
Had an afternoon appointment with Dr. Pines at the Hallandale location today, 4/27/23. After checking in the Receptionist informs me a referral is needed & I have to contact my primary doctor to request a referral. My primary office closes at NOON today. Yesterday, 4/26/23, I called Dr. Pines' office to confirm my appointment for today & asked if my referral has been received. Was told by the young lady on the phone "ALL" was good. Requested to speak to the Office Manger today as this is NOT professional. Office Manager was NO help. NO customer service at all. Very disappointed in the manner I was treated. Will NOT be going to Dr. Pines' office again. Took the time to write this out so this will NOT happen to another patient.

This practice is very poorly run. They never answer their phone except with a message to call back at another time. I had to call to get someone to review my test results. Their billing was incorrect and I've been calling for weeks. It's very frustrating. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
