Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, stay far away from her! She lied about seeing my child. She was not helpful in treatment and kept my child in the hospital longer than needed. She prescribed the wrong medication for my child's needs. We tried reaching her many times to follow up with the medication that was creating an issue for our child but she didn't return calls. Only after threatening and stating it was a liability for the hospital did she return a call. I would do anything as not to have her in charge of my child. My recommendation, stay far away from her!! Very dissatisfied parent!!

I have never been treated so poorly and inhumanly in my entire life. She draws conclusions from her 2 second interaction with you, she kept me in the facility way longer than needed, the worst week of my life. Have PTSD from her treatment probably for the rest of my life.

I saw Dr. Lazar at Joe Dimaggio Children's when I was 17. She insisted that I had a problem with God and the Devil, not mental illness. She was absolutely useless in my time of crisis and insisted on forcing her religious beliefs on me effectively derailing my treatment. I would go to a priest if I needed spiritual guidance. Dr. Lazar has no place treating mental illness. See anyone else before her if you need help.

I was seen by Dr. Lazar at Memorial and she was very rude to me. I would give her 0 stars if I could. I would never recommend her to anyone. When you're already down, you do not need someone to bring you down even more and that is what she did to me. I now have PTSD from my experience with her.

She is a mean, vicious b****h. If she doesn't like you from your 2 second meeting, resign yourself to being held in the Memorial Psych Ward. Possibly for this is for her financial gain. She won't even sit down to talk because she would have to put her purse down. If you need help make sure you don't see her. She will ruin your and family's life.

I was seen at the hospital and she stated that I was weird and very bizarre. I think I was seen in her eyes as a zoo animal.
