I was having some problems urinating. Dr. Samowitz did a probe in my penis told me it was a problem with my prostate and gave me options to solve it. I opted for outpatient surgery. The day of the surgery, I was given general anesthesia. He probed into my penis and made several incisions. When I came out of the anesthesia, still in the surgery center, HE TOLD ME IT WAS NOT A PROBLEM WITH MY PROSTATE BUT RATHER AN OVER ACTIVE BLADDER.....THIS MAN IS A LICENSED UROLOGIST SO HOW THE HELL DID HE MISDIAGNOSE THIS?And....my urination problems became worse, not better.STAY AWAY FROM HIM...HE'S A QUACK.

Awful. My obgyn recommended this dr. A nightmare from long office waits, unable to get through on phone to waking up after what was a 20 minute vaginal sling procedure to incredible pain and a hematoma the size of a grapefruit. Unable to urinate an needed to be cathiterized. Dr acted like this was normal. Tried to fix sling in office with surgical instruments Worse than ever after 6 months. This man should never practice medicine again

My 87-year-old father-in-law (on oxygen) went in to Uromedix complaining of inability to pass urine. He was catheterized and sent home. For the next appointment, he waited 4 hours and then was told he couldn't be seen. I complained to Dr. Samowitz about the long wait. He acknowledged that "That's not good," but obviously lacked the business acumen to act on the problem. Six weeks later, he was still waiting for treatment. you can see all reviews for this Dr are good well inaction they dont put bad reviews on this site cause i had a horrible visit with this office they did not post it they did 3 test in office send me for a renal nulclear scan which cost a buddle and still want more test he tells me he does not know what s wrong with me i sat in office with pain for 2 1/2 hours he was so behind unreal they would double book in that kind of office
