List of MIkhail Zelfman's Reviews
Most unprofessional Dr ever. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself. My husband was under his care six days in the hospital. He did nothing all that time. Wouldn’t even call. Felt like I had to beg him to talk to me. We changed Dr’s afraid he lost precious time. Today almost three weeks later now in intensive care. Our family must prepare to say goodbye.
My mother was admitted to the hospital. She has a significant medical history. Unfortunately for us, Dr. Zelfman was our primary admitting doctor. To be honest, this ‘doctor’ was someone that came to the room and was mistaken by myself and my mother to be the janitor or someone who works in the hospital in a non medical role. He was disheveled, slurred speech, made his visit quickly and barely explained to us what was going on. I’m glad I was there to stop him and ask questions. I worry that others who aren’t so lucky to have loved ones in the hospital and are on their own will be treated by this person. I tried calling Broward General Hospital to make a complaint or comment and they have also been impossible to contact. If you are stuck with this ‘doctor’ please run. Ask for someone else. I worry for current and future patients. Even one of our nurses made the comment of what a piece of work this person was. Please avoid!
Dr. Mikhail Zelfman is one of the most unprofessional, rude, abrasive and disrespectful people I have EVER had the misfortune to meet. Not only is he lazy, but his bedside manner is non existent and does not work with a family on adequate care. He should not have contact with the general public and if you have the misfortune of having him assigned to your or a loved one's case, please ask for a replacement immediately! He should not be practicing medicine as he is not in the business of helping patients or families.
WORST DOCTOR EVER!!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH HIM!! VERY RUDE, VERY COLD, VERY DISRESPECTFUL... VERY UNCARING!!! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! IF I COULD RATE HIM A "0" I WOULD!!! HE DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE A 1....
Dr. Zelfman is a rude, disrespectful and downright nasty man. His appearance suggests what kind of care you will receive from him. He does not provide his patients with the care that they will pay for and treats families with disdain and truly make you feel that you DO NOT MATTER. If you have the misfortune of having him assigned to you, ask for an MD rather than settle for this DO.
Dr. Zelfman is one of the most unprofessional, rude and abrasive individuals that I have ever met in the medical profession. He should not be allowed to practice medicine as he does NOT provide useful solutions or the help that is needed. GO ELSEWHERE or REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU ARE AT BROWARD!
Horrible demeanor and communication skills.
He misdiagnosed my mother in the hospital. The other doctors who saw her were embarrassed and apologetic that Dr. Zelfman even works at Broward Health Medical Center. I don't understand why they keep him on staff. Horrible experience.
had this attending Doctor as our primary care Physcian 3 times in the 4 weeks my 81 year old father spent in and out of Broward General. He discharged him the first time when my father hadn't been out of bed his entire stay!! This time, we left the hospital without a INR blood result and this was after we asked for it 3 times!! Incompetence at its finest in a healthcare system that is clearly broken.
If a negative rating was possible, he would get it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
