I gave 3 fractures where my coccyx and sacrum come together and he injected those areas and it had given me 90 percent pain relief
I would not recommend Dr. Amune due his lack of interest in patient care. He may be technically capable, however, he was very condescending and dismissive when asked any question.
The Best Doc ever You have back pain he is your answer. Absolutely the best anywhere
I’ve been going to Dr Amune for several arthritic back issues. My pain lever is lower today then it’s been in years. I can’t say enough good about his practice. I get seen on time the staff is wonderful. If you need a pain management Dr., I highly recommend Dr Amune and his team
I was in an accident 9 years ago and have been to at least 6 doctors and had 10 MRI's and ever doctor has told me nothing is wrong. Dr. Amune listened to me and completed new MRI's with a different view and found numerous bulging discs, herniated discs, an annular fissure and so forth. He has changed my life and truly cares about helping instead of just prescribing pain medicine. I know people are upset about him not explaining things more but sometimes doctors don't realize we don't understand and you just have to ask. He is worth more than 5 stars.
My mother has been in Dr Amune's care for many years. - more like decades. As Dr Amune's practice has grown my mother has seen less and less of Dr. Amune. It is now to the point where she has not seen him in years. My mother is 93 years old and is having problems managing her medications. We are now using a prescription service that packages up my mother's pills into easy to manage packs. It requires that prescriptions be electronically sent. Dr Amune REFUSES to send an electronic script (which takes 5 minutes) because it requires the he actually visit with the patient. Since he is more interested in volume and money than in the well being of my mother, he will not even see her for 5 minutes every other month! It is shocking how little he cares about a patient that has been with him for over 15 years. Of note - during that time she was also WAY over medicated, to the point where I had to have her tapered off Oxycontin. She did not even know where she was. I was willing to let that go because my mother liked him so much - that was about 5 years ago. My mother has not even see him in years and he obviously could care less about her or her care. It is shocking how he has become and I highly recommend that you DO NOT get involved with him or his practice. SHAMEFUL!!!

Dr. Amune took me as a patient after my long term dr. Patel went into research. Dr. Amune has been fantastic helping relieve my pain thru injections and meds. His knowledge is outstanding as his treatments. I’m very lucky to have him as my Dr. and thankfully he took me on. Thank you Dr. Amune Robert Stein.
My initial appt. with Dr. Amune was impressive with thorough review of films. Then he prescribed a medication, paying NO ATTENTION to my 'List of Allergies'. When going to Rx, I discovered that the main ingredient in a prescribed medication was Codeine for which I have severe allergic reaction. In calling the administrative staff, they grew highly defensive, antagonistic, rude, mean and nasty. They do 'not' care about suffering patients, demanded that I take the med as prescribed or none. They suggested a 2nd med that is also on my allergy list, insisting that both meds on my allergy list are the only meds they will prescribe. Furthermore, the staff has 'no' respect for patients or for their pain condition, and especially are totally inconsiderat to patients time of having to get to work. In previous injections, friends accompanied me; my friends observed the nasty rudeness and chaos of this practice as well.
If you want surgery right away, go to this place. Especially if you want a procedure you are ill informed about. The customer service is terrible, the doc isn’t so bad, except for prescribing a neck procedure without explaining it. Then when I call the office.. or hotline as I would call it.. you get placed on hold for 20-30 mins. No one has an answer. I cancelled my procedure a month priorand still got a phone call to be there Monday morning.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
