Excellent facility very clean and comfortable for the patients and visitors. The staff is very friendly and take and excellent care of my aunt during her stay. Ill definitely recommend St. Catherines West for your loved ones.

My mom was at this facility to recuperate after a right MCA stroke she suffered in August 6th 2021 . She did improve extensively the 28 days she was here. I owe this to the amazing nursing and physical therapy staff at St Catherine’s.I rarely leave reviews but thought this place deserved its merits. I was there everyday for 46 hours and saw many of the areas and how the staff conducted their business.Nursing staffThe nursing staff was amazing. They were extremely attentive and always went the extra step for my mother. They would make her laugh. Sit with her and talk when we weren’t there. My mom was In room 317. So I want to give a shoutout to all those nurses that took care of her day after day from mid August to the end of September We will forever be grateful.Physical therapy staffThe physical therapy team is too tier. My mom was seen by the same team for her stay.Jennifer and Marcela were her physical therapy staffMaggie and Vanessa were her occupational therapistDiana and Nadya were her speech therapistThey went to incredible lengths to getMy mom to as close to her self pre stroke. What I loved is that my mom saw the same therapist for her stay. They were really able to track her progress and help her improve.By the end of her therapy. She was moving her left leg which was paralyzed from the stroke. Went from being nonverbal early August to speaking and eating by mouth by the end of her therapy Still improving everyday. Even though the road to recovery continues They truly made the differenceRooms and facilityMom had a private room and was always clean. Physical therapy is in the first floor amd the had a state of the art facility. Excellent cleaning staffTo everyone that was involved thank you for caring for my mom Cary. We are forever grateful

Rosa the front desk Receptionist is one of the most caring respectful and dignified gatekeeper that I have ever met. Her level of professionalism is admirable especially working in an health care organization.

This place is the best so clean nurses are outstanding warm caring friendly always returning the calls I was impressed with the quality of this facility Well run 5 star to management owner and staff

I would like to point the outstanding service provided by a few at St. Catherines Rehab hospital. My mother has dementia and I can say that these employees need to be commentated for showing compassion and patience with patients that need it the most.  My mother NEVER wants to shower eat or do therapy but these employees ALWAYS went above and beyond in order to get her to do everything she needed to do for the day.These exceptional employees are Aileen in the PT departmentCourtney in the OT departmentMayelin Ortega NurseAna short brown hair Aide  Ana Periera blond hair AideI sure hope that Saint Catherines Rehab hospital values these employees because they truly are rare.

This place has been providing wonderful service to my grandmother. The place is immaculate and very well organized and run. The staff is very personable and professional. Although I can’t wait for my grandmother to be home soon it’s comforting to know she’s well taken cared of.

Do not leave your loved ones in this facility my mother sat in her feces and urine for days she was left dehydrated unattended by her nurses medicine was administer her that was not authorized this is a disgraceful place and it should be shut down Her condition was so bad that she needed emergency medical attention after staying there for just a few days open wounds bed soars and severe dehydration

My mother passed away here. She was in home hospice and was admitted due to pneumonia. She was fine the night before I left her the next morning they called me to tell me she was unconscious. They told me they gave her Ambien so she can sleep. 48 hours later she was gone. This place is not a rehab. If your loved one is in hospice care and ends up here. They do no do palliative care They speed up the process. They did the same thing to my friends mother. Beware of leaving your relative alone because if you leave them alone they speed up a process that should be natural. Very upset😭

BEWARE of DR. Yurisan Rios...My grandmom was here for no more than 10 days and was only seen 1 time by this doctor and was transferred to Palmetto hospital after coming from Memorial West. You would think they would send her back to the hospital she came from but obviously like many other places they go by what is convenient to them. Even after speaking with family members requesting to send her back to the hospital she came from. Now her care is delayed because records need to be sent back and forth. I was recommended this facility from a family member that was here before but as you can see not everyone will receive the same experience. The only helpful person here was Nurse Webb.10022020 My grandmother passed away 09232020
