PROS: *Doctors seem to genuinely care about their patients. *If you do not have medical insurance they will provide free or majorly discounted treatment and discounted medications at their in-house pharmacy. *They take walk-in patients on short notice if you need to see someone right away. You may have a long wait time if you didn't have an appointment but, I think that's to be expected. *They have liaisons to assist you with applying for SSDI, Medicare, and other benefits. CONS: *The parking situation is usually a nightmare. *You cannot contact your doctor or their assistant directly. You must go through the appointment department and they are not always efficient or polite. And, sometimes they are awesome. Unfortunately, it is hit or miss with them. You must stay on top of the situation. One of my personal experiences with Citrus after contacting an unprofessional law firm for help with my SSDI case: I went to Citrus Health Network, a local community healthcare/mental health clinic and met with Lauren, their Social Security Liaison. Within a few months she helped me to get approved for SSDI and Medicare. I received three years' worth of back benefits very quickly. I had my first of many needed surgeries shortly after that and it was fully covered by Medicare. Lauren accomplished what I couldn't, working around the clock for three years, in just a few months. She was so pleasant and easy to work with. She answered and returned calls either immediately or close to it every time. She stayed right on top of everything on both my end and with Social Security. She is a true Angel. All of her time and service was completely free of charge. YES, FREE! I kept 100% of all three years of back pay. She was always professional and caring. If you are in need of benefits please check with your local community clinics to find out if they have a benefits liaison before contacting lawyers. She saved me so much time and money. I did not have to give a third of my money to someone (a lawyer) who only cared about making money and not my health. I am forever grateful to Lauren and Citrus.
A place where they evolutionize those that are weak minded into an indestrucrible force of nature be warned only the strong survive
Thank you for providing good quality service to our community. Forever grateful for the care my husband has recieved.
I have been here twice so far, and to be honest the first time was mostly awful. I was waiting for 6 hours before being seen, and the only reason I didn't leave was because I really had to see a doctor. They did say that the first appointment takes longer to get in than the following visits, which proved to be true- my second appointment was so fast, I was in an out in less than an hour! The employees have consistently been very nice, the doctors wonderful, and my treatment effective. BUT the lots are tiny, so good luck finding parking.
First off, can I just say how HORRIBLE the parking lot is?! There's never any spots available and a lot of people park out on the street where they're not supposed to. Even the back parking lot is usually full and I've had to drive around over 20 minutes a few times just to pick up my meds! The back parking lot is also so dangerous to back out of a spot.. There's no room! I wonder how many cars get bumped daily from this. The parking lot next door is no better either. Apart from that I'd like to mention that the therapists there leave much to be desired. I've switch around with a few of them and the first woman I saw would be on her computer the whole time typing away while I was pouring my heart out. She wouldn't even look up at me. I was really looking for a psychotherapist but their program there has mainly interns working as therapists and they get switched out every 8-12 weeks! I need a very long term person to stay and work with me. So I currently am not seeing a therapist at all. Very disappointing and disheartening. But I will say that the people who work there are all so very kind! And I adore my my psychiatrist, Dr. Delgado. She's very knowledgeable and throrough and I've been seeing her for years.
I called to make an appointment because I would like to resume coming to the doctor as is being more than 2 years I called to make an appointment and they are not accepting in person appointment but when I call other medical centers many are accepting in person appointments don't understand the reasons why when many other places have all the covid-19 precautions in place and they thankfully are seen patients face to face I am calling other medical centers to change my primary doctor.
I remember that in 2015, I used to get hospitalized here. The pros and cons of this Citrus: Pros: 1. The staff cares for you. 2. I had a HUGE crush on a girl at this Citrus-but I never saw her again! (But I wish I could see her again) Cons: *1. Horrible treatment. I used to get hospitalized in this place again, again, again, etc. 2. It could be boring for you. I remember that when I was here, I was so bored. But I'm sure that for some patients that I've seen when I was a patient here, maybe they weren't so bored as I was. *Maybe there is excellent treatment from this Citrus today-because in my time as a patient here (back in 2015) there was horrible treatment.
The staff is rude and can care less about you. Don't waste your money on businesses like this are suppose to be here to help you.
I am a patient who was not able to meet with my doctor twice. I called and his assistant who would not even talk to me to figure out what went wrong. I realized i was not sent a link so i could be on zoom. Dr. Mandri's assistant is incompetent by not speaking to me after two meetings were missed so that this person could correct the problem. I have to do without my meds which is causing me to have panic attacks. I will ask my primary care doctor to write the script for me. I don't want to go through this again because his assistant doesn't realize the problem so that person will make that mistake again and cause me more stress. The irony is I go to them to help me with stress so creating stress is counter productive. I go to the West Kendall office which i won't be after i get my meds. Well now it is three appointments missed. Reslly stressed out.
This place is the worst. It's impossible to get a hold of someone to make an appointment. Then the lady's at the front desk are super rude. If you don't request to see a doctor they send you to a ARNP which by the way Marlene Jalice is the worst. She doesn't pay attention to what you are telling her. You tell her both of your knees are hurting constantly and she sends you for an X-ray to only one knee. Then it takes them 4 months to response and say that I only said I had pain in one knee The referrals department is another one that doesn't answer.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
