Great doctor, takes his time talking to you, caring, answers his messages and takes care of his patients.

This doctor is amazing. Very attentive and alert of my 90-year-old grandmother’s medical needs. He is aware of medical red flags and takes initiative and action for prevention and resolution. His office assistant, Betsy, is gifted in communication as she is reliable and quick in her responses. I’be been through a few doctors and finally found one that really does care.

Excellent doctor. He treated my mother with great care. He was patience and answer all our questions. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Cancio is one of the best doctors that I had seen in a long time. His office staff is very friendly, they answer all my questions and my referrals. Dr. is on call every day, as long a message is left at his cell, he will return calls.

Most people assume doctors are good or bad based on their bedside manner. If the doctor "listened" and were "nice" to them, they believe they are good doctors. This couldn't be further from the truth. We went to Dr. Cancio because my grandmother was diagnosed with Parkinson's. She had no major symptoms. He gave her medicine for it which caused a lot of issues and her quality of life diminished to the point she wasn't herself at all and had no will to live. I brought up the issue with Dr. Cancio and I asked if he was prescribing the medication to stop or slow down the progression of the disease. Dr. Cancio aggressively stated "This is what you give people who have Parkinson's!" I told him I understood but why use the medication if it's not actually doing anything for the disease. He asked me if I had a medical degree, berated me and then ended the visit by walking out. GOOD doctors treat patients and don't just push meds without care. Dr. Cancio is a huge disappointment!!!

He prescribed Levodopa which caused many medical issues and her quality of life diminished drastically to the point she wasn't herself at all and had no will to live. I brought up the issue with Dr. Cancio and asked him if he was prescribing the medication to stop or slow down the progression of the disease. I suggested that if it was only to control her symptoms, that maybe there was another alternative to it that had less side effects. I noted the rapid decline in the 2 months since prescribing the medication.As I was speaking, Dr. Cancio aggressively shouted "This is what you give people who have Parkinson's!" I told him I understood that then I calmly asked him if the medication slowed down or stopped the progression of the disease to which he angrily replied "No!" He then stood up, asked me if I had a medical degree to which I replied that I was currently studying medicine. He defensively said "I've been practicing medicine for decades and you don't know anything!" He ended the visit by walking out. I have been surrounded by and practiced with physicians for a long time. GOOD doctors are not only "nice" and "listen" to people, they get on the same side of the table with their patients, they come up with a treatment plan that's best for their patient, and don't take things personally when a patient or their family is reporting that the first plan isn't working as expected. Good doctors are always learning, always evolving, and they definitely know that there are no two patients that are the same. Medicine is not cookie cutter. You need to be a critical thinker. Your ego needs to not be involved.I was smart enough to get the hell out of that office and never go back. Maybe he used to be a doctor that cared about patients well-being. Maybe he still does. And maybe, cookie cutter medicine is the best kind of practice that he can offer.If that's what you want, then you found the right doctor. If you want a doctor that sees you more than just a number, I suggest you RUN from this one and NEVER LOOK BACK!

Dr Cancio is very professional and caring. He is always on call every night and weekend, always return our emergencies call. His office staff is friendly and courteous. I will recommend him to all my friends
