Spent a whole nine minutes with this provider for a virtual visit. I suspected sinusitis since I have a history of two to three upper respiratory infections each year. Dr. Deason explained my symptoms as allergies and suggested I switch to a different antihistamine. A few days later, I had to visit urgent care for what was clearly sinusitis.
Had the misfortune of meeting this dr on Amwell video consult. Told her my entire family had similar s/s as daughter recently diagnosed with Streptococcus & Impetigo. Explained we’ve all been using over the counter meds for days with no success. Daughter prescribed amoxicillin, son on a separate chat by different dr also prescribed amoxicillin & wife had similar result with a different dr as well. Deasons advice to me was to stick with over the counter meds. If you want to be neglected or dismissed she is the dr for you. Just my opinion after witnessing 3 other separate cases with exact same s/s with opposite result.
It’s hard to find a compassionate, knowledgeable, and understanding doctor that doesn’t treat you like a number. Dr. Deason has helped me with a diagnosis that has eluded other doctors and I’m finally feeling better! Thanks to Dr. Deason and her skills I can finally go back to my normal schedule and work again.
Very nice doctor. She allowed me the time to explain my issue and asked some questions to make sure we were on the same page. The process was easy and she made me feel at ease with talking to a stranger on the phone. I was unsure about how my first interaction with telemedicine would go but I am very pleased! Thanks for all your help.
I called in since I haven’t been feeling well for two days , we start off by her just starring at me ( this is my first time so it’s already awkward.) Doesn’t smile and asks why I’m calling ... ok fine I start by telling her my symptoms , she wants to see my throat which my chief complaint is that my throat was on fire after my husband was just contagious and she blamed the lighting on not being able to see the issue . I already thought this was a bad idea since I feel it’s completely ridiculous to be diagnosed without seeing someone in person or being able to be swabbed . I proceed with asking if I could be prescribed a z pack or if she recommended anything , she dismissed my request and pretty much told me to go buy something over the counter . So I have a full blown contagious husband who was prescribed an inhaler and a zpack but I have to go grab something off the shelf until I run a fever or cough up a lung . No help at all. I truly feel in this situation that she is one of the reasons I will never return to online visits. It’s a waste of money and no compassion what so ever . I work the rest of the week and will not be able to make it into office hours for a real check up.
Great doctor! So thankful for her! She helped me out when another doctor made a mistake. Awesome lady!
Horrendous experience.
Dr. Deason is incredibly compassionate and brilliant in her field. I never had regular helthcare because I never found a doctor that I felt comfortable with or one that really listened and understood my concerns. Dr. Deason far exceeds all of these shortcomings and as a result I am the happy and healthiest I have ever been.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
