Please, do yourself a favor and don't go. I observed this doctor verbally screaming at his female employees. Not a standard tone, but actual screaming. I've never known a man, let alone a doctor, disrespect and belittle someone like this. I was a walk-in patient and I walked right out after that. I can't respect someone that treats employees or ANYONE that way.
One missed blood draw due to illness, and he's ready to threaten discharge. Was ready to push pills for PRE-diabetes, that I have since controlled w an easy DIET change. Nope!
He is a good person he comes off little rude at first but after going a few times I felt much better, now staff is a little scattered brain, but otherwise not bad . Now you have to realize doctors treat you the way you treat them in my opinion, yes he came off little boldly at first saying I’m to young to have this issue welp tell me about it , but again talk to him and had to come off little aggressive but then we started seeing eye to eye!! He’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I can say now he has my best interest at heart!!!! Will be back !!!
I strongly recommend not going to see this Doctor they practice unethical billing practices Telling you that you are required to pay deductibles my first visit they told me I Had to pay $315 deductible trying to trust Their professionalism. I had my doubts Contacted my Insurance company and Human Resources dept. the next day I was Only supposed to pay a $25 co-pay they Refused to refund the $ 290 dollars I was Forced to file a fraud claim against them With my bank and posted a complaint With Florida medical board stay away From this Doctors office
He has always been there for my mother and me, whether by appointment or an emergency, he's been there for us.
This dr refused a referral request for iron infusion my iron is dangerous low from my oncologists causing me to miss the first infusion. He made me come in for an appointment only to drop me as a patient. He was sure to charge insurance for the appointment. What he did today was patient abandonment which is illegal. He refused to put it in writing. He refused to accommodate the referral request until he called pasco county sherrif by way of 911. Only after i broke the law down and after calling the police on me did he agree to approve request for 2 out of 6 weekly treatments. He always has to be hounded for referrals ive missed ivig therapy and ent appointments because of his lack of doing his job properly. I have gone without medications because of his refusal to fill them in a timely manner. Im still waiting for compazine to be filled for over a month. Do yourself a favor abd skip this guy. I had to search out an ent doctor because he ignored my cronic sinusitis infections that i needed two surgeries to correct . if zero stars were an option. I am a very sick person he told me im uneducated to get a job do something with my life and to stop being a burden on society. I am also disabled. He's a misogynistic jerk that should not be practising. I previously worked for an ambulance company and have college education.Update after scheduling appointment for iron infusion shah cancelled my referral and i could not receive the iron today. Also he refused to sign referral for my ivig treatment which was sent to him while he was my dr. Which also set me back . both counts of my iron and igg iga igm antibodies are extremely low and he is 100% aware of these numbers. . dr jaun travarez a amador is rated 4.4 and got me an appointment for tomorrow they also have urgent care same day appointments and are accepting new patients
Dr. Shah was the most humane doctor that we have ever had my wife and myself were his patients for over 5 years and every time we went it was a pleasure to be his patient he took care of us as if we were family his staff always newest by name we felt cared for and our health improved as his patients. We felt as part of his family and we saw him treating other patients in the same way he treated us there are no complaints about him and we never heard anybody complain about him in the waiting room. We miss him very much but we had to move to another state. Thank you for all your care doctor shah.
Is rude to staff, interrupts his patients just turning 65 and asked me so many questions before that he didn't
Terrible , intake staff was rude , tried to make us pay for a wellness plan that is covered 100% on my insurance
Terrible Doctor!! Wouldn’t never recommend him!! My grandfather was in the hospital suffering for over two days. Countless times the staff of the hospital, and my family attempted to contact Dr Shah so that he can put the order in for Comfort Measures that way my grandfather wouldn’t suffer in his last moments of life. Dr Shah shut off his overnight phone services after we left several voicemails for him to contact us ASAP. We still didn’t receive a returning call from Dr Shah. In the mean time, my grandfather has been suffering. A few days ago, while my grandfather was still in the hospital, my mother called Dr Shah during the day to let him know that my grandfather is in the hospital and Shah needs to visit him. She explained to Shah what is going on and he literally said to my mother, “your father is 84 years old, how long do you expect him to live for?” Terrible bed side manor. Dr Shah deflected direct questions from my family as well as confused my grandfather with another one of his patients. My grandfather has been a patient of Dr Shah for years. Dr Shah has no compassion for his patients or the family. Several times the nurse had to advise medical procedures and recommendations for my grandfather. Dr Shah doesn’t have the common sense, education, or compassion to be in the medical field nor should he have the privilege of caring for another patient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
