Dr. Caruana was my visit for a second opinion after a bad experience with physician at a totally different facility. I got so much more information from Him about what was going on with my eyes. His calm reassuring voice and him stating even other things that I was so thankful to learn, but was not given to me by previous Dr. elsewhere. I am extremely thankful for him and my results. I have so far done surgery on one eye and look forward to surgery on other eye re my cataracts. One of my best Doctor/Patient experiences. Total satisfaction. Will definitely share with others

Dr. Caruana is a very skilled surgeon and I whole heartedly recommend him to anyone in need of an excellent ophthalmologist. He is very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable about my eye issues, and thoroughly explained to me what needed to be done, and my surgery went very well.

THE best ophthalmologist, hands down. I had been going to another ophthalmologist (Linda Kaplan) for years and what a waste of time that was! After it seemed (to me) that I was starting to go blind and the old doc could not figure out what it was, I went to Dr. Caruana, who diagnosed the problem in less than five minutes! Not only that, I paid for the surgery out of pocket because by this time I had visited more than one doctor to figure out what was wrong and he was clearly the best. You only get one set of eyes so you don't want to cut corners there. So although my insurance didn't cover it, it was absolutely worth going into my own pocket to make sure I got the care I should have been getting from Kaplan. And, he's a superior doctor, no question. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Caruana, he was amazing, highly skilled and unlike my old doctor, had the medical knowledge to diagnose and treat me. I got my 20/20 vision back and life is good - thanks to Dr. Caruana.

Dr. Caruana was referred to me by both my optometrist and my primary physician. The surgeries, (each eye 2 weeks apart) were flawless, painless, and on schedule. The office is quite large and busy, but everyone is professional. I was given excellent care, and I see better than ever.

Dr. Caruana and his staff run a very organized, efficient and professional practice. Everyone was freindly and helpful with answers to all my questions. They made me feel very comfortable as the explained the preparation, procedure and post opp instructios. I would highly recommend Dr. Caruana to anyone who is considering cataract surgery.

Dr Carauana is a great eye doctor. I first went to another eye doctor in the practice but was referred to him because of my complicated vision. I had cataract surgery in my left eye and it was a great success. I have failed vision in that eye and he would not schedule my right eye until I could see 20/40 (with a contact lens). That worked and now I can have cataract suregery in my right eye. Dr. Caruana has genuine concern for his patients. He is an excellent doctor and I highly reccommend him. The office staff is also very nice and the contact lens "guru", Mark is also great. I will keep coming back to this doctor.

I’ve had two cataract removal and lens implants in the last three years, both done by Albert Caruana I find him to be a caring professional, who listens and always recommends the best course of action.
